Well it's okWell, I did but nothing good happened.. seemed to me that battery backup became worst.. so I had to restore Backup...![]()
If you want better battery backup try some custom kernel but be careful you might have to compromise with your performance only a little, I'm using genom kernel and it's going great you can try it if you want.
Yeah. I've done that ever since the global builds went AWOL. No issues except they've still not fixed the touchscreen issues for quite a while now.
@yshalsager Hey, new to this tool. One question:
So I can flash the firmware in recovery then I can flash any custom ROM I want, right? I mean, I don't need a full system zip to make custom ROMs work as they should
Yes it is stable but if you want better experience you can always flash beta firmware. If i use cusrom with pie os is it compatible with global stable firmware now ?
The new roms are coming these are kernal 4.9 installed so require latest firmware just simply flash latest firmware zip then flash any rom that you want. If you don't update firmware may you will get error 7 when flashing ROM or hardware not working properly like (fingerprint sensor)@yshalsager Hey, new to this tool. One question:

How do I go back to the previous firmware in case anything goes wrong?
So far didn't have any issues on the latest firmware, incase something goes bad and you want to revert back just take backup of your phone or taking backup of your boot partition is enough. How do I go back to the previous firmware in case anything goes wrong?
Are there any issues on the latest firmware? Which firmware are you using?
