Just received my Jetstream yesterday, and so far so good. Absolutely love the look and feel and Honeycomb simply rocks in this form factor. Compared to Ipad, I'd say at least as good and if you're an android fan, it obviously wins.

A couple of points:

-ATT didn't ship the scribe pen, and now I'm having to deal w/ them on how to get it. Be careful if you haven't ordered yet.
-We need it rooted: It's loaded w/ ATT crapware, and it's always running in the bg.
-Google Video: Where is it?? Why not?? Anyone know of an apk that'll work? I tried one I saw floating around on the Inspire forum, but it force closed every time I opened it.
-Battery life is awesome! And... It solved my inspire battery issues, as I use it only 1/2 as much now and get 2 days use.
-Case: We need a good case for this thing; I constantly feel like I'm going to drop it (esp in landscape mode) and am afraid it'll get scratched up when in a bag for travel.

It's a great tab, I highly recommend it if price isn't a big issue.

Scratch that... As soon as I submitted the above, the Scribe pen arrived separately/next day in it's own package. Haven't tried it yet.

I agree with the original post. I have had the JS three days now. I didn't find the price too high for what you get. Side by side with Acer, Xoom etc it is clearly better built, and an equal or better performer. I need a tablet that works internationally and this is it... The Galaxy Tab was nicer looking but Verizon only, and I do not work well on iOS.

And the microSD card is very cool - I can carry lots of music, books and vids, and update the card offline (that is, without syncing a device). That's important to me.

Scrolling and general UI is very good. Functionality is typical for Honeycomb. The built in browser is slow and basic, but functional.
Battery life is very good. I have not run low yet, on moderate daily use. I'm not straining the system tho - clear wireless, no 4g in Seattle, no Bluetooth and I usually keep GPS off. That said videos, email, browsing etc. do not drain it as fast as I'd thought. The real test is an upcoming 9 hour flight.

The screen is not as nice as either iPad or Galaxy Tab (IMHO), but is very good with accurate colors. The camera is amazing.
Wish there were more accessories - I need a case.

Finding a JS in stock is hard. In Seattle each AT&T store only got one in! I had to travel before finding a physical unit to play with. You can get them online, but I wanted to have it in hand. The pen was also not in stock, and it is in the mail.

When the price comes down you'll see more people getting these.

Could someone try handwritting recognition using WritePad? It's kind of keyboard app so can be used anywhere need text input. It works with capacitive stylus on froyo and GB, i dont know whether it will work with the htc pen. The app is $10, i havent bought yet. Could you please aslo check whether the htc pen works with highlight and free draw annotations in Repligo or ezPDF? Thanks.

The tablet is nice as you say, I found a nice HTC gel case at at&t, it fits it like a glove because its actually made by HTC not some generic brand.

Also I got a car mount for it: http://www.arkon.com/tablet-accessories/universal-tablet-car-mount.html

or if you want windshield version: http://www.arkon.com/tablet-accessories/universal-tablet-windshield-mount.html

There are 2 seperate 16GB internal cards in the tablet, one for apps and software, another just for storage.

I have a 4gb SC card installed. In the system settings, under Storage I see 11.81GB total space. I'm guessing windows is adding both internal and external storage, because Windows tells me I have 16GB free.

One thing I noticed that I love on my flyer is being able to send tech messages/MMS messages like I would on a phone. Does the jetstream do this too like the flyer..?
