Hey all,

We all have a very powerful phone but because no one brought an HSPL or RSPL for the Titan, it isn't possible to make an coustom rom for it.

So I had the idea to give the first developer who makes an working Coustom-rom with good improvements a bounty.

I will start with 20$.

I will pay via paypal, if multiple developers are involved please tell us how much each developer gets from the bounty.

YESSSS! Make that $50!!!

Excellent initiative, FinalForce!

I'm on T-mobile US, but wanted the Titan sooooooo bad, so my buddy let me use his AT&T upgrade, and I got it for $200. I brought it home, stuck my SIM in, carrier unlocked it, annnnd... meh... stuck at 2G  and no visual voicemail, due, I would imagine, to the current radio being incompatible with T-mobile's 3G and 4G data networks.

I will add $30 US to this reward fund, payable via PayPal, for a total of $50, to the first person to upload a working HARDSPL, and custom, updatable ROM for the HTC Titan (Eternity) x310a! :D

Ok so until now we have:

20$ + 30$ +50€ + 50 € + 30$ + 40$ + 50$ + 20$ +50$ + 50 € + 15$ + 25£ + 20$ +50$ +50$ + 20€ + 20$ +50$ +20$ +25€ +50€ +20$ +70$
+20 $ = +/- 920$

This Post will be updated for the amount of the bounty!!

So, with this outpouring of interest, I have to ask; will a HardSPL and custom ROM for one version of the Titan work for all of them?

Because, let's see... there's...

The HTC Titan x310e, which would seem by far, the most common version, accounting for the majority of units sold in Europe, and many here in the US.

Then there's mine; the Titan x310a, which is the version that is being sold here in the States by AT&T, I'm sure that I'm not the only T-Mobile US customer to go and get one of these, hoping that by carrier unlocking it, we could use it on T-Mobile's 4G network, only to be sorely dissapointed.

Also there is the HTC Eternity, which is the version of the Titan being sold in Brazil (possibly elsewhere in S.A. too?)

I am unaware what, if any, are the hardware differences between these versions, and thus, if one "solution" will be applicable for all HTC Titan owners...

If anyone can shed any light on the matter, please speak up. Thanks!

I pledge $50 USD

Preferably, ALL versions of the Titan should be supported, just as both HD2 versions were. There will never be another HD2, but.... damn the Titan II, let's strive for near HD2 excellence with the Titan I!

PM me when the bounty is up, I'll subscribe to this thread.

Can't anyone just take the rspl or hspl from the HD2 and modify it so it runs on the Titan?

Comeon guys time to see some progress here, we have a big bounty waiting!!!

(I am noob in that area but it must be a way!!)
I am sure anyone of you guys is a dev.
