First time flashing a Rom on my optimus4XHD

Hi!!I need some help friends I have flash roms on Samsung and HTC before 1st time on LG I've rooted and unlocked bootloader clockworkmod installed is there any thing I'm missing or I should do before nandroid. ..fullwipe...flash Rom..flash gaps reboot
