First update for X2 out.

I found a movie on youtube from SE. the guy is saying there is an application update for X2 out since 27.2.2010. Its not a ROM update its a cab file but he says its supposed to affect the dialer and the overall performance of the phone.

i dont notice any difference but maybe somone else can. let us know it the things get any smoother.

1) No, it isn't needed.
2) Unpack setup dll from original SE cab, it installs all cabs from itself.

Yes. It works quite good. Same with CommManager.

dialer tested no problem on barebone rom even if it can't remove previous dialer of x2 it changes the layout of call log and enables redail

after using my x2 today with the application update installed i think there is some of improvement. I cant realy be 100% shure but i have a better feleing after 1 day use then i had before in a whole week since i got the phone.

but then again, maybe i just got used of the x2.

Siince there exist new versions of the commmanager (under new versions I understand the 2nd, 3rd and 4th releases of Ultrashot), my device is really strange. I install one of the releases, exept the 1st, which are by the way 300kb instead of the 600kb of the 1st one, and then magically it happens that I cannot access my winMo menue...
Probably it has to do with the installation, afterwards, of the 1%-battery_05cab of gtrab (?). Fact is that only a hard reset is possible if I want to access the menue. (And the device is damn slow).
I saw this, exept with the 1st release, with all all the other releases...

Anyone else with this feature? I run X1O Rom 6.5

Me too, I'm already made a Hard Reset to gain access again to the Start menu. Do not install the Commmanager. I'm using 826X ROM with Windows Mobile 6.5.5 build 23519.

Bur the dialer work perfect and better than the previous version.

My god! what is SE doing so long with the official ROM update?! I am an SE fan since T68i (first SE phone). And bad material quality of X1 realy shook my fondness of SE. And now X2 Update is late. Im starting to hate them. Its a shame couse X2 would be a realy nice phone if it was little more stable and would had somewhat better performance. I hope Hard-SPL for X2 commes soon.
