@jmmigo, fedosis makes LOS releases often. he will include this last one in next release (by the way, there must be big proprietary update).
but if you dont want to wait and use his release with gps fix, then your case is "for those, who have installed "GPS_FIX-cm13.zip"".

okay, i know the original aim of this fix is to make the GPS more accurate, but somehow it also fix the GPS reboot issue. I couldn't used any apps that require GPS before (it would make the phone reboot), now i can without problem. I give my highest thanks to the dev. my device is the Redmi 3S 16gb btw.

even last available for downloading 6.9.1 didnt work.

just backup you "system" partition and try it.
RR 5.7.4 is one of cm13 based zwliew's forks.
so, highly probable it would work.

ah yeah i forgot to tell the ROM sorry, i was on Mokee back then, now i'm in the Pacrom final stable i found in MIUI Forum which according to the compiler he also included the gps reboot fix, but i have no idea whether it's this certain fix or not. definitely worth a try tho, there's a high chance it'll work.

I can confirm that this gps fix also able to fix any random reboot when using other gps app (beside gmaps) in RR 5.7.4 build 18th Jan. It's quite relief since the dev wasn't able to update new build by now. Anyway thanks for the fix.

Wondering same thing, if I install gpsfix to Miui 8 global-rom.
I don't have enough experience to test out and recover if worst happens.

you dont need this at miui.
it was custom roms' problem only.

Try the fix but Still have issue with waze and google map...
My first xiaomi smartphone and my last for sure.

Developer and main stream miui rom's never worked for me. So I did change to PacRom-final stable, which on build logs says having some sort of gps fix. Hopes were high but still nothing. As a last resort I installed this fix1 and gps-locks somehow seems working x)
