Hello everyone. I want to ask you that if this ghost touch issue occurs with only official os of xiaomi or with lineage os too ? I'm thinking to buy this phone and install rom but i don't know if touching issue exists even with lineage os ?
touch issues on poco f1 can occur with any rom....depends on the vendor/firmware you use and the type of touch panel(nvt/fts).my phone worked 7 months without issues then suddenly touch issues started
if you want a sincere advice......DONT buy it.
there are some websites that allow entering imei numbers and tell you some info including production date but cant remember site names now
which vendor firmware and kernel can solve ghost touch and screen freezing issue of pocophone with fts_ts panel. I am frustrated now by this issue I tried various custom roms and kernel but cannot solve this issue. Please help me...anyone...
None, its okay for couple of hours/days then the issues start all over again. buy a new lcd screen from aliexpress people claim that these have no ghost or other touch problems. I ordered mine ill report later this month
can you explain to us how a hardware issue can be okay/fixed for a couple of hours/days then starts all over again? doesnt a hardware defect supposed to stay that way until its replaced??!
Cannot explain anything but keep hoping it will get fixed by updates...after 8 months of struggeling and flashing kernels and updates... now well i gave up and bought a new screen simple, 22 euro from aliexpress
let's see. Its a different digitizer and panel, people are reporting less issue with theseIf that doesn't fix it too then ill throw the phone against the wall and buy a other brand regardless, i never buy xiaomi again

My old touchscreen got touch ghost whenever i touch it lately on top nearby notch, starting from 3-4 months ago whenever i'm scrolling or tap a button.
So i got a new screen from Aliexpress but still got ghost touch problem appear on top near notch when the phone heat up during playing PUBG (haven't appeared in normal use like Instagram).
I'm thinking cheap Touch panel for Pocophone have same problem here when it heat up a lot, maybe should've buy Samsung Galaxy Note 10.

I still have this ghost touch issue and i already disabled the 3 finger screenshot and my phone already updated to 10.3.6 is there any fix to this issue?

and NO,dont rely on xiaomi to fix this coz they practically dumped the poco f1 and thanks to the sincere developers on xda for trying to fix what xiaomi boys couldnt.

Ron, so regarding with your above answer what is your 7 month xiaomi experience tells about K20 ? You said dont buy poco, so what about K20 ? Do you recommend it or after pocophone you don't recommend xiaomi at all ?

well,to be honest i was impressed with poco f1 with miui 9 oreo except for the touch experience which was never good enough for a device with such powerful hardware and this bad touch gone worse with updates until 3 weeks ago when every single rom,kernel i tried was giving me touch issues.
as for k20,k20 pro......poeple are having some touch issues as well so its obvious that the flagship killer concept with xiaomi is always involving putting cheap hardware to keep the price down
poco f1 will probably be my last xiaomi.
I confirm that replacing screen with new one from aliexpress improves touch alot. Everything seems to work normal now. No ghost touch no weird freezes no lag and more accurate when typing

Keep in mind installing this is not very easy (I did it myself), take your time and look on youtube for tutorials for dismantle the poco F1
It's not just replacing the screen you need to transfer the speaker and other small parts that are glued on the original screen
I want to add: For those who changed the screen from aliexpress I must say this one also works best with stock kernel 10.3.6.
Not that i had ghost or freezes with custom kernels with this new screen but it just feels most responsive and smooth with the stock kernel.
Changing the screen def solved my touch issues day 3 now: freezing and ghosts are completely abscent
