[Fix] multi touch/ghost touch issue

I want to add: For those who changed the screen from aliexpress I must say this one also works best with stock kernel 10.3.6.

Not that i had ghost or freezes with custom kernels with this new screen but it just feels most responsive and smooth with the stock kernel.

Changing the screen def solved my touch issues day 3 now: freezing and ghosts are completely abscent

I remember that my original screen on stock 10.3.6 was a complete disaster lol

How is the display quality? Is that as good as the stock display?

Colors are slightly more washed out and screen is +-10% less bright than stock screen. The screen tends to be sligtly "edgy sharper" where stock is more "blurry smooth" presentation

They are pretty simelar though but not 100% identical for sure

both of us have things in common regarding this nasty issue.....i used my phone for 7 months without issues until it started 40-50 days ago.....i tried every rom,vendor and kernel possible until i tried xiaomi eu stable 10.3.6.0+malakas oc 5/8/19 kernel which solved most of my issues(except occasional freezes....etc)

well,as i already mentioned before : eu 10.3.6.0 stable+malakas oc 5/8/19 kernel fixed most of my issues. my touch panel is fts production date is december 2018.

I retested my phone with multitouch tester and i am not getting the problem shown in your youtube video,however i still get ocassional screen freeze but less frequent than before flashing that rom/kernel combo.

Here i fixed myself ..Got nvt-ts,
Soo it goes, i wiped everything on advanced wipe,i flashed 10.3.7eu version ,flashed magisk then reboot too system, again went too recovery, backup the stock kernel, then flashed infected kernel ,then don't wipe nothing, just reboot too system.. there you go touch is fixed
Rememberut everything in gesture too none.. i again tried extreme kernel ..that too worked flawlessly no touch issues..
No mean too hurt anyone.. tried malakas,franco, Seshstation,optimus,illusion they didn't work.. donno why. :fingers-crossed:

And what is magisk? I already have twrp and 10.3.7 eu and open bootloader.

I find out Xiaomi used 2 different touch screen for poco f1!!!
1. FTS_ts (mine)
2. NVT_ts

And its looks like dropped phone are more familiar with this problem. Maybe This phone is very sensitive for dropping

Sorry but this does not fix the issue in any way.

The worst part of this on my phone is that is NEVER existed on my phone until I installed the latest update that was apparently supposed to fix this problem on phones that had it.

They have basically introduced this issue in to my phone with their latest update. And it isn't just the ghost touch. The screen now freezes randomly when I open an app for example, it is jerky when scrolling the page in the webbrowser and the battery runs out twice as quickly as it used to do. Well done Pocophone, great update.

My advice to anyone thinking of buying one of these phones is don't bother. It isn't worth the frustration when they start introducing bugs into your phone that their update is supposed to be fixing.

Update on the new screen I bought from aliexpress: 3 weeks further now and touch issues are still absent. No more touch issues here I also stayed with stock kernel coming from 10.3.6 firmware

This is so sad but true. When I got the 10.3.7 stable update, my phone went from a fantastic phone to an annoying pile of sh*t. It always freezes and ghost touch is everywhere. Hope that the next update fix this.

I think the poco F1 screen is very sensitive to water. In my phone, just the sweat of my hands activates ghost touch, which makes typing annoying or the navigation bar buttons get triggered. To fix it I have to wash the screen and dry it with a towel, drying with my clothes doesn't work. Maybe I just need to buy a case and hopefully that fixes it.

An odd thing happened.. i had been facing touch issues during gaming and sometimes while scrolling.. I briefly read a message here that changing the screen guard helped with the issue. (I had been meaning to change my tempered glass anyways) So i ripped the old one off and applied the new tempered glass on my phone. My touch issue has been resolved. I know it sounds stupid but do tempered glasses stop conducting properly after a while? Like an expiry date or best before..
