[FIX] systemUI, framework-res, SecPhone compile error

You don't edit the log itself....

You open the xml file it points to, go to that line# and add the+ like my example, save then recompile.

Seems aapt has an issue. Hopefully it gets fixed and we don't have to deal with this anymore.

Well, I used the "+" method several times already on a GoogleEdition mod I made for the 4.2.2 version. Now working on one for the GoogleEdition4.3. I get the same "styles" errors I got on 4.2.2 but NOW the "+" doesn't seem to do the trick. Any other thoughts? These are the exact same errors, but the threads fix no longer works, very frustrating.

This incredible (and yet so simple) "+" tip gave me such a relief from my non-stop frustration with recompiling framework-res.apk i can't even describe!!!

For me however, I had to make the "+" change in code in all these 6 files:
1. keyguard_screen_password_landscape.xml
2. keyguard_screen_password_portrait.xml
3. keyguard_screen_tab_unlock.xml
4. keyguard_screen_tab_unlock_land.xml
5. keyguard_screen_unlock_landscape.xml
6. keyguard_screen_unlock_portrait.xml

1 question tho please, I havent got a s4 yet but also read about other problem apk and was told if you remove the xml thats giving errors then re add them from original apk after compiled works to. Does anyone no if thats true

I used this method to remove all the styles errors from SystemUI but then I had public.xml errors so I removed public and recompiled. Just wanted to no if now I could add public back. Im just trying to get the hang of this before I get a s4

I dont no if it would work but SystemUI did finally compile for me but no way to test yet.

Edit sorry bad idea ofc I wont see values with 7zip after compile so cant readd public.xml

framework-res compiled easy with this method but still getting these aapt warnings from SystemUI
