not too far. I seen it saying that it is "obtaining ip address"... but i dont think it does since it doesnt get past that. just shuts down. I dont know about the Ghz... i will have to check that tonight. I put everything at default, so auto everything.

If your Evo cannot get further than that, there are usually two things at play. Either the DHCP server on your router isn't working correctly or you haven't whitelisted the Evo on the MAC address filters. Also, make sure you have entered the correct passphrase for your AP/router.

Don't worry about that the Ghz. The evo can't even connect on the 5 Ghz band nor can it see any such APs on that band. The chip inside doesn't support it.

What about support for 4.67? I tried the one currently available on the first post on this thread and it does not work. People report problems (EVO keep connecting and disconnecting evry 2-3 minutes) with 4.67 and Wireless N, I wonder if this could fix the problem.

However, it should be noted that the issue you're reporting is likely not something that would be fixed by modifying a single module file to allow Wireless N connections.
