Hi! For those who struggle with this problem on android 10.0.1. The black bar on keyboard, you can type this on adb: adb shell wm overscan 0,0,0,-75 and bar will be gone! :D. For rooted users you can just type wm overscan 0,0,0,-75 on terminal.

Default value is 0,0,0,0

There's a LOT of people who won't see this that want to. It needs to be broadcast EVERYWHERE!!!

I found a downside on this fix. Toast messages are at the very bottom of the screen. The message is still readable, but it's a bit cut of.

This just reduces the pill height which effectively also hides the navigatio pill/bar

This works!! However, This just reduces the pill height which effectively also hides the navigation pill/bar.

I use Google gestures and have to say double thank you. For hiding the bar but still giving me Google gestures of swiping left and right quickly for switching between recent apps and hiding the ugly bar when typing!!

Does this just cause the black bar to color match the keyboard? I like having the keyboard moved up, don't want it any lower on the screen. Thanks!
