Well A8 is old baseband no need to flash fix but if you want to flash new baseband rom..
Make backup
Wipe data
Wipe cache
Wipe dalvik(and battery stats if want to)
Flash new baseband ROM
Reboot
Flash fix
Reboot one more then everything should be fine

Flash fix

Hmm that's weird cause it worked perfectly for me :/ maybe try it one more time?? And make sure you do full wipe

Guys, I didn´t know about this issue with OLD / NEW BB on this phone.

So i got my Friends phone and Rooted, installed a Custom recovery and installed CM10, after that No Imei, no Serial , no BB.

Can I use this fix ?

Or should I flash a new BB keeping CM10 rom ?

Or should I flash and Froyo Original rom ?

Or May i discard the phone at all ??

I was using some custom ROMs... And i wanted to taste CM7 on my LG-P500... After i flash i got no GSM signal... And i did download and try "old-baseband-fixed-2.zip" but nothing changed... I did go back to my old ROM... Everything became normal... I am confused...
What is "old-baseband-fixed-2.zip" for?
Am i old baseband? or new one?
And is there any way to use CM7 easy?

From the JB screen shot, your device is new baseband, therefore all you need to do is flash a P500 ROM. It is possible that the APN for your carrier isn't setup correctly and thus, no GSM.

EDIT:
The old baseband fix is for old baseband devices. Any Optimus One or variant that didn't get it's official 2.3 update is an old baseband device. Mostly P506 and P509 but there are a few of the other models too. All ROMs starting with CM7 ( Android 2.3 ) are built for new baseband devices. These patches replace the new baseband libraries for the devices radio with old baseband libraries.

You made all required wipes, cache, data, dalvik cache before installing? I am unfamiliar with the P503, although I just read that it is identical to the P500, so you shouldn't be having any problems. It could also be a bad download for the ROM you want to try or the ROM itself is broken. There is a very stable version of CM7.2( Android 2.3.7 GB ) here somewhere. Lemme see if I can dig up the link. Ok here's the link. This is a direct download link as I cannot remember which thread it came from.
