Re: FIXED: Can't send MMS? Sprint APN Settings Problem!

I don't know. Give it a try. If it doesn't work, you can restore the backed up APN file.

This will not fix MMS, but everything else still works. Still no MMS though.
after days of unsuccessfully scouring forums to find a fix for 4.2.2 without having to switch from LTE/CDMA/EvDo to CDMA/EvDo auto, what ended up finally working for me was to set the APN protocol and APN roaming protocol to IPv4/IPv6.

sorry if this has already been posted, but i never was able to find this... or maybe i just couldn't put 2 and 2 together. :D

Hey Alpine, I do not know if I'm missing something or got the wrong app but the one I got from the Play Store does not have a menu option to disable ICS check, is it the one by Ritesh Sahu? Thanks

Changed title to add "Virgin Mobile" support. Changed post #2 to include Virgin Mobile APN xml file. Please let me know if it works for Virgin Mobile users. I don't have Virgin Mobile, so I can't test it myself.

Thanks!

I'm running CM 10.1 M2 (based on AOSP Android 4.2.2) and have had no luck using the first method. Has the either of the methods worked for someone in a similar situation? I'd prefer not to use GoSMS, but will do it if it will work.

I just tried the original Sprint link, and it worked fine. Perhaps you clicked on the wrong download button cuz of all the confusing download ads in mediafire.

I went ahead and changed all the links to point to box.com. Less confusion.

This fixed my problem!

I have a sprint s3 running 4.1.2 flashed to boost. After the flash MMS would not work. I followed the instructions here and it worked for me.

I followed the instructions exactly. ES File Explorer would not work for me. Every time I tried to move APN Backup and Restore from data/apps to system/apps it would only move it to the system file and would not drop it into system/apps. Only the paid version of titanium backup will move files into the system/apps folder so I went ahead and paid for the upgrade and it worked perfectly.

Follow these instructions exactly! It does work!
