[MENTION=8019758]maybe doing something wrong.
You are doing well, thank you very much!

Can you, please, get a logcat of BT start and BT call as well?

I use something similar to
logcat Finsky:s,Conscrypt:s,Icing:s,Dialer:s,Telecom:s,Sensors:s,SurfaceFlinger:s,GpsNetInitiatedHandler:s,GpsNetInitiatedHandler:s,BroadcastQueue:s,StatusBar:s,GoogleConversionReporter:s,StatsUploadJobService:s,System.out:s,CrashlyticsCore:s,Glide:s,MoPub:s
to get rid of most of the noise.

OK, I clean installed both 14.1 and 15.1 and paired with my headset. I started the logs with Bluetooth off, then turned Bluetooth on, call a number I have control of, answered the call and then ended it. The logs are labeled and are at the link below. Thanks for your work on this!

Thank you very much to you!
Happy to help! Something to think about the galaxy s5 klte has working Bluetooth on Los 15.1. Klte uses the msm8974ac chip and note 3 hlte uses msm8974. The main difference between the chips is bus speed. Maybe it's an error related to bus speed, maybe we can pull something from the klte ROM or the klte dev has an answer for this problem. After work I'm going to run a klte build, just to have the repo and the ROM.

Thanks, hope you're on the right path!
Bloody hell, how can you be so effective?! Thank you very much!

I try to spot an issue within the dozen(s ?)of layers, it's so intricated it's a real nightmare. But your logs help me to compare values and behaviors and so, move on to another thing step by step. I still hope to find something before next year tho' ;)

That's a good hint. Do you know if klte works with 16.0, or just 15.1 ?
15.1 is official for klte. There may be an unofficial in the klte form. At work now, will check later.

So you mean BT calling is working fine on klte on 16.0? I don't have this device myself BTW.
Reading in the tread rayman95 provided. I found mainly instability issues ie.. dropped connections and conflicts with WiFi. No issues like we have with the note 3.

I unpacked the kernels of klte+hlte 15.1. I don't know of any way to view the zImage it self. In the files and folders I can view, the setting for Qcom and Bluetooth are the same. I didn't find any mention of es325. Wish I knew more, then I could be more helpful.
