That's harmless log.kmsg just gives me a lot of useless garbage ( samsung_dsi_panel_event_handler : unknown event ) repeatedly , maybe doing something wrong.

OK, I clean installed both 14.1 and 15.1 and paired with my headset. I started the logs with Bluetooth off, then turned Bluetooth on, call a number I have control of, answered the call and then ended it. The logs are labeled and are at the link below. Thanks for your work on this! You are doing well, thank you very much!
Can you, please, get a logcat of BT start and BT call as well?
I use something similar to
to get rid of most of the noise.
Thank you very much to you! Your 14.1 log is sooooo helpful. And, as I was feeling, my 16.0 logs are missing an obvious but very important part. Let me investigate it, the path seems to be clear now, but steep nonetheless. Thanks for your work on this!
Happy to help! Something to think about the galaxy s5 klte has working Bluetooth on Los 15.1. Klte uses the msm8974ac chip and note 3 hlte uses msm8974. The main difference between the chips is bus speed. Maybe it's an error related to bus speed, maybe we can pull something from the klte ROM or the klte dev has an answer for this problem. After work I'm going to run a klte build, just to have the repo and the ROM.Thank you very much to you!
Could you please get a btsnoop_hci.log from your 14.1 device?Happy to help!

Bloody hell, how can you be so effective?! Thank you very much! Thanks, hope you're on the right path!
That's a good hint. Do you know if klte works with 16.0, or just 15.1 ?Something to think about the galaxy s5 klte has working Bluetooth on Los 15.1. Klte uses the msm8974ac chip and note 3 hlte uses msm8974. The main difference between the chips is bus speed.
15.1 is official for klte. There may be an unofficial in the klte form. At work now, will check later. That's a good hint. Do you know if klte works with 16.0, or just 15.1 ?

Android 9.0 Pie For Galaxy S515.1 is official for klte. There may be an unofficial in the klte form. At work now, will check later.
So you mean BT calling is working fine on klte on 16.0? I don't have this device myself BTW.Bluetooth is fixed by Haggertk's latest build
It's just the copy of the thread, it's not an affirmative answer....Erf, I should have said "is BT calling working on 16.0", I thouht the topic of the thread would be sufficent, my bad.

Reading in the tread rayman95 provided. I found mainly instability issues ie.. dropped connections and conflicts with WiFi. No issues like we have with the note 3.So you mean BT calling is working fine on klte on 16.0? I don't have this device myself BTW.
