It looks like many people got stuck at the first step that RUU flashed SPL.

Am I the only one, or all AT&T Titans unable to be flashed directly?
Are GoldCard and Y cable necessary for AT&T Titan?

Thanks!!

For the time being HSPL is only successful on the Europe Verison of the titan and a very small number of US Titans... Theres something about going from the Stock AT&T SPL of 1.10 to DFT SPL that causes a glitch and prevents any modification of the SPL. As for now Cotulla and some AT&T titan users are working on the issue.

-Possibly.. but probably not...here's why...

I don't personally think upgrading the SPL to 2.6 had anything at all to do with it when we unbranded our devices. You have to look at it this way. SPL 2.6 was pushed out to very few Titans because of a Zune glitch when HTC pushed out SPL 2.5. Some unbranded devices that were running 2.5 already from the first HTC update could upgrade to DFTs SPL and HSPL without a problem - without having to upgrade to SPL 2.6.

However, I cannot relate to what I just said, as I did in fact upgrade to 2.6 after I debranded my device -in which everything went fine and dandy.

BUT...

All unbranded devices received a bootloader update back in Feb. causing the SPL to upgrade to 2.5. All AT&T Titans did not receive this update because ... ATT fails at life.

(IMO)-Going off by assumption here... (and don't take this seriously as I am just spewing out words AND this IS NOT anything against the DFT group -as I would sell every drop of blood of mine just to have them around any day)...that DFTs modified SPL was written as an exploit for only SPLs 2.5/2.6...which they "probably" or "could have" assumed the ATT devices had been upgraded already.

Which was why an ATT Titan, unbranded to a Euro rom w/ SPL 2.5/2.6 could install DFT's 2.5 SPL+HSPL without a hitch.

-OR-another scenario...As Tachi has said...

The 1.10 SPL just caused a massive glitch when someone tried to upgrade to DFTs 2.5 SPL.

Well said, it might not be necesary at all to upgrade to spl 2.6 to successfully flash dft spl /hspl after debranding att titan, but I will not take a chance when it only involves <1 minute of your time to do this step and it certainly works fine with my debranded att titan.
