Flash G930T firmware on a G930U Device?

So it seems that most users are flashing G930U firmwares on their G930T (or G930A or G930V...) devices so that they can debloat, improve battery, etc. But I'm looking to do the reverse to pick up T-Mobile features. I would like to do so for a couple reasons:
1) I would like VoLTE to work and advanced messaging
2) I would like 4x4 MIMO and Carrier aggregation for T-Mobile bands
3) I would like T-Mobile WiFi calling
4) I would like to get faster (monthly-ish) updates from T-Mobile vs the slow updates from Samsung

Anyone have experience with this and get it to work? It seems like it should be possible with the snapdragon, I just can't find any threads about going this direction.

Wait, so just to clarify you don't have VoLTE or wifi calling on the 930U firmware?
WiFi calling is enabled in settings but never connects. WiFi calling is provisioned on the sim/phone line as I can get it to work with my Nexus 6p with that sim, but not the S7. And the VoLTE may be working but how do I check that?

I know this an old thread but I just wanted to let everyone know that the ANDROID 8.0.0 G930U firmware (G930UUEU4CRG2) was just released over at Sammobile!

Physically I have the G930V phone... but I've been running the 930U firmware for over a year with no issues. I'd be curious how much I'm really missing (minus the bloat).

WiFi calling and txting seem to work fine.
Updates from tmo vs samsung seem to be about the same +/- a few weeks.
