I thought it would be a good idea to compile a list of all the flashable zips that everyone has confirmed work on the S4 Active by using Flash Gordon. Post your findings and I'll add them to the OP.

Working Mods
Ac!d Audio Mod (you MUST use the "aosp" version and not "stock" version or it will bootloop) - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2002197

BloatKiller (thanks to @thatbigmoose!) - http://forum.xda-developers.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=2092975&d=1372989527

Replace the AT&T startup and shutdown animations with the international S4 Active's - http://forum.xda-developers.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=2207441&d=1377226628

SecPhone Native Call Recording - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=44792443

Working Mods With Bugs
CM10.1 MMS (you can't send MMS, use the 'pre' package

AOSP-based Theme (MAD props to @Vertumus and @thatbigmoose. No bugs found but has only been tested on MF1 so far; YMMV) - http://uppit.com/1af1mosljcun/S4A_Holotheme_Thanks_Vertumus.zip

@my-blue-snog-box can you keep updated the OP with what has confirmed to work. I would organize it with Green Text for working mods orange for working with bugs and red for DO NOT FLASH. Example

Working Mods
VR-Themes from www.linktothemod com
VolumeMod from www.deepbass com

Working Mods With Bugs
CM10.1 MMS from www.cm10mms com (you can't send MMS, use the 'pre' package

DO NOT WORK
Font Installer from www.blah com (will softbrick)

Please don't go to those sites, they are obviously fake

Make sure required applets are installed!

I had this same problem for the longest time, my solution was to make sure that BusyBox installed these applets:
  • cp
  • mount
  • rm
  • sed
  • unzip
Since I installed "BusyBox Free" by Stephen (Stericson), I had to manually go through the "Smart Install" method to make sure the applets were enabled (they weren't). Alternatively you can just check the "Replace All" box I suppose.

After I installed them I was able to flash zips fine! Hope that helps you.

I decided to try it again last night, and got the invalid package error. checked and installed the missing BusyBox applets and went at it again. this time it acted it was actually doing something, whereas the first time it almost instantly said it was done and needed to reboot. after 15-30 seconds or so it completed and asked for the reboot. it didn't delete all the apps that moose listed, though, so I had to manually uninstall some others.

glad to actually be debloated now.

Sorry dudes, in my infinite wisdom at 2AM I think I made some misspellings so some apps accidentally don't get removed haha

Edit: Here, add this to the OP. It angered me that I had to keep manually changing the bootanim everytime I softbricked my phone :good:

Here's that holo theme.

100% credit to @Vertumus. If he doesn't want this posted here he can PM me and I'll remove.

I changed some things to make it better fit the active. Only bug I found is if you're on 4G the 4G logo is on top of the signal bars(not sure if intended by dev - signal bars are blue, 4G logo is white, it doesn't look that bad imo.) Only parts themed are SystemUI and framework-res(pretty much the notification bar/shade and the power menu) maybe more to come later.

@op don't add this into the OP until at least one other person tries this at their own risk. As in, it worked fine on my MF1 device but don't get mad at me if it bricks yours.

Link to the original developer's thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2304251

Edit: Actually, I think I know how to fix the 4g logo overlap, hold on :D

Alright, I had to edit quite a few things but I like the way this turned out. I'm going to make a dev-host account soon but I'm tired so for now this is on uppit.

That first zip I posted wasn't to fix "custom" on boot, it's actually to replace the AT&t startup and shutdown animations with the international S4 Active's. I probably should've been more clear.

Also include in the acid audio mod part that the user must use the "aosp" version and not "stock" version or it will bootloop.

Other than that great thread so far. I'm gonna update my flash Gordon thread with just a link here for all mods
