Question Flash realme x7 max rom into realme gt neo? is possible

I posted this in another Neo GT thread yesterday, maybe here is more pertinent.

There is a seller on aliexpress saying they will take the GT Neo Flash Edition and install a 'global rom'. The seller points out the device name will be changed to Max 7 5G, and has a screenshot of the 'about phone' confirming that. (Both the GT Neo and Max 7 5G are id'd by RMX 3031.)

Seems interesting, but I wonder what rom they're installing. I asked the seller, am awaIting a response.

Any thoughts on that?

The Chinese ROM won't let me switch from the default messaging app to Textra, "to maintain device security". Ridiculous. I bet it's not an issue with the Indian ROM, which is basically global, right?

Where can we buy models with the Indian ROM? Is there an online seller that would ship to Australia?

Just was messaged by an aliexpress seller 'Gmax' that they install the Indian firmware on the GT Neo Flash edition model. It gets renamed in 'about phone' as the X7 Max.
