Hi i have a question about efs.
With the 2.8.7.1 I was able to choose efs while backing up. With the 2.8.7.0 I don't have that option. Moreover when I select everything and do the backup (2.8.7.0), I have an error message about not being able to find the location of efs. Does that mean it is not backed up ? Is anyone else having this error message? I don't really want to restore a nandroid because I am afraid I might mess up my efs partition while doing so

Flashify is for rooted devices. You don't need to use dev ROMs! You can root your mi4c even if you're on a stable ROM.

Please stop misleading unskilled users who think rooting mi4c requires flashing a dev ROM!!

Flashing a dev ROM may lock bootloader of your mi4c, and you may NOT be able to go back to unlocked bootloader! Without unlocked bootloader, you can not freely flash ROMs or recovery. Please be careful before you flash a dev ROM!!

Sir if you have different ways to root a stable version so you can have twrp on your mi4c then i don't mind if u share. This is a method to easily flash twrp without using a PC.

This method was posted prior to xiaomi's locking bootloaders. I have updated the post to warn users in using dev roms 6.14 and up.

My mi4c first rom was MIUI v 8.0.16.0. I installed Kingroot, i rooted in 2 minutes. After this i installed in 2 minutes TWRP 3.0.2.0 with Official TWRP App from play store. All this things without any laptop or pc, only with phone. Bootloader was unlocked from first time.
