My LS6500 issue is that the tv stuck/looping in android/google loading screen and going back to TCL logo loading
And a friend of mine says i just need to factory reset or update using the latest version

I have tried downloading the V8-R41KT01-LF1V383.009231
And copy and paste it to a fat32 4gb usb
However the screen just went to "please wait blue screen" to black screen updating system then it says "error"

Ahh, ok....stuck in bootloop...
You need IMG file .....
V378 IMG

1.06 GB file on MEGA

Hope you know how to flash IMG file....unzip and copy "update.img" to USB drive. TV must be Off, press and hold TV power button.....
After V378 installed, you can update with V383 OTA file.

Thank you! I have downloaded the file and unzip the update.img file on a newly formatted 4GB fat32 USB stick. However a new error message appeared
Maybe there's an issue on my tcl or i just don't know what I'm doing

Try other USB stick, as not all playing well......( or maybe NTFS format, sometime also help)

If you read a bit, you will notice V383 is mentioned....

Does somebody know that that

TCL S6500 model is the same as the Thomson FD5406? Can I upgrade my tv with these softwares? (I have a Thomson). In this compare site everything is the same. https://www.displayspecifications.com/en/comparison/4bf877812 Or should I check something in the tv-s menu first?

I have a problem: I would like to watch mkv files from the Internet from usb but the sound hangs it does not sync with the picture. I installed kodi 17.4 and from the program mkv playback works fine. But why does not work with the integrated media player? Does anybody has the same problem?

Hello, I have a TCL 40s6500. I am having trouble playing HEVC files using a usb 3.0 flashdrive. I use VLC media player and I recently updated to v383. Is there any way to fix this?

Did anyone here manage to install an alternative launcher? I recently got a Thomson 32HE5606 which is more or less identical to TCL 32ES560.
Whenever the TV boots, it starts with the TV app. I want it to start the home screen of my launcher (which is Flauncher by the way). How can I fix this? What are the adb commands to disable the standard launcher?
