It appears for me as well. But mostly in bad light conditions.

the video which i tested was in broad day light...not in low light conditions....but i think when i flashed the new 2.3.4 latest 138th leak...the problems are not there ...but every time i need to change the video resoultion...as it resets to 320x240 ....

Version SndInitDefy_1.4_2.apk worked for me.

Thanks, but I have the latest version SndInitDefy_1.8 run smoothly in my Defy.
It download extra system files over the web, the installed apk can then be uninstalled with 2nd-init still working in the phone.
I've since removed SystemRecovery from kb7sqi.defy.bootstrap.
Here for stock Gingerbread 2.3.3 for you..
If anyone has this installed on their defy, can they try if the bootloader can be unlocked with the "fastboot oem unlock" command? The atrix bootloader has been confirmed unlocked with this command on a 2.3.3 build...

Install attached file and run it from your app drawer. On the app you will need to press install for the first time and next just press to boot into recovery. There you can flash those Connected zip file.uploading the back up now

You can also install 2nd-init if you want but I guess this attached file I put should be more than enough for you.
This Rom Has 2nd-inif intalled, but the problem is, whenever I go to custom recovery it doesn't finds my SD Card and so I am not able to choose the File ..

Sygic works great with mine. Using the same rom as yours 2.3.3 taken from Jboogie initial released.
RootExplorer works fine too. The only made me tingkery is NFS-shift doesn't work anymore. This is the game my son like to play. But I got him to play NFS with my PSP, so issue solved...
Camera work super with face detection... I'm like semi-pro photograper now with it hahaha!
I hope green lense Defy user will eventually get this rom working soon, so we could have bigger and louder chat here..

Can someone help me on how to port camera and camcorder from 2.3.4 leak on this 2.3.3 leak..as post #343 i am facing some problems like choppy video recording..i am on jboogie3 nandroid...not flashed the full sbf...i was not facing this probl on 2.3.4 and also this rom is perfect for my use...thats why i just need to fix the camcorder. on this one...help will be appreciated.
Why don't you go back to 2.3.4 since video recording is better? Battery life is also better! If you want the blurGallery apk just pull it from the 2.3.3 nand using yaff explorer app from market and install via root explorer.

or directly copy and paste BlurGallery.apk and BlurGallery.odex to that app folder of 2.3.4 leak from 2.3.3 and set the permissions??

First backup blurgallery.apk and blurgallery.odex to sd card.
Open yaffs explorer. Navigate to sd card/clockworkmod/backup and open nandroid of 2.3.3. Open system.img (it will take about a minute to open). Go to app and extract the two files to a folder on sd card. Copy and paste blurgallery.apk and blurgallery.odex from the folder to system/app and set permissions.
If the 2.3.3 rom is deodexed you wont see any blurgallery.odex just blurgallery.apk

I restore the 2.3.3 blur gallery with Titanium backup and it works fine, so I have at the same time the 2.3.3 and 2.3.4 gallery.
Can you post your BlurGallery backup? I tried putting it in System/App and change the permissions but no success...
The backup is stored on SD card>TitaniumBackup - Copy everything related to com.motorola.blurcamera...
