sounds good to me. We will need to start another bounty thread for this if we want to get serious with the goal to hit the 325 mark. I'm sure one of the awesome devs would be thrilled to give it a shot.
Do you have any devs you can contact to see if they're interested? I have the phone listed for sale locally but if we have a dev in mind than I'll close my sales listing.

We could probably find one easily but none on the top of my head. Normally you would raise the money first and usually after that it is easy to find a good dev to give the phone to.

I would rather have a dev lined up than to hold everyone's money and not have anywhere to send the phone. Plus it would give the dev incentive to start working on a rom even before he received the phone. Otherwise we could get someone browsing the threads who says "hey a free phone, I'd do some work on it" but never follows through. It could happen the other way as well, but this would limit the amount of people sending messages saying "hey I'm a dev" when in fact they're not.

When I said a dev phone I meant for me to test going back to stock AT&T, I got away with one replacement but dont want to push my luck lol. Plus I cant afford to be down a phone at the moment. The verizon phone would probably work for a dev to build a custom rom though

Oh lol. Who did you do your replacement through? Att or KG? Seems like they replaced it fast.

@xdabbeb should definitely be considered. He has done a ton of development for the LG G2 including Xcam. He does awesome work with stock based roms. I'd donate toward getting him the phone for sure.

I gave my wife the spare G4 but it may become available soon. I ordered a couple Moto X Pures. I love this G4 but the lack of development is killing me.

Got ya man. I have a Moto X Pure on the way as well. Lol. I still haven't give up hope for the G4 though.

If anyone wants to start a donation pool get Xdabbeb a G4 please let it be known. We will figure out a way to get it done. Check the G2 thread or Google his screen name to see the work he has done for LG devices.

Hey I have an extra G4 I'll let go extremely cheap, all I want is to get a g3 or even a g2 (used idc or something doesn't have to be LG) that has or had a bunch of development I can go back and play with all the good old roms. I really only care about Kit Kat, maybe earlier lollipop and down (not a fan of the new sh.t as far as custom roms go). I'm fairly new to flashing and only (had) an LG L70 which died, and now just a samdung exhibit & centura with very lil development. There's only a handful of roms for those and I want something loaded lol don't care if it's older. This g4 is on a debloated stock Rom with some v10 stuff and there's the KDZ of course. Condition is good minor ware (very few very light scratches that could possibly be buffed out) and there's some kinda extremely faint Mark at the bottom right of the screen the nav bar normally covers you can only see on a white full Bright screen. I have no clue what it is or how it got there but since it's there I'll take a huge cut to get something old-school. I have it through accident, my step dad borrowed it, thought he left it on top of his truck, thought it was lost and had it replaced. Almost 2 months later we were cleaning out his workroom and the damn thing was behind a tool cabinet lol worked fine. Anyway if it'll help in any development it would also help me catch up with modern times more??(please someone crack this God forsaken bootie??)

I hope you will find someone to do the exchange.
I see this thread did go towards any clear results but just like others have said so many times, because LG is so stubborn to keep the bootloader locked, people are losing interest in this phone which is really sad.
In another thread, the one with the bounty to get the bootloader unlocked, people have pledged support to more than 3000$ to get this solved.

I saw that, 3000 would be good motivation I would think, if I had the skill I'd pounce on it for sure. Such a shame cuz it's an awesome phone with huge potential, but leave it up to Verizon to f..k up a wet dream man. I know LG built it but big red always makes it even harder. Also removing those features like that is just ridiculous IMO but tiz wutitiz huh lol figured it was worth a shot huh

Ok question.....I also have a gpad 10.1 vk700 with a locked boot loader and I tried flashfire and xposed did install but afterwards any app I try to install just says application failed to install. Even the first boot when the apps optimize it immediately zooms through the whole list of over 500 apps in a second, normally it takes awhile. So I of course had to flash the uninstaller , just weird
