So my title wouldve been longer if I could have allowed it but basically this is what happened

I tried to flash the latest ParanoidAndroid but it got stuck on the boot logo for about 45 minutes. Probably because I was on f2fs and forgot to flash a kernel.

After getting a red font message in TWRP saying /system could not be mounted/found, I did a full format of my phone and flashed a different custom ROM, which got me stuck at the white font screen that just says Google and shows the unlock symbol on the b ottom.

Using the toolkit I flashed stock which worked, as well as manually flashing TWRP through fastboot.

I then did a full wipe like normal when switching ROMs and tried to flash Nitrogen ROM which once again lead me to the white font Google screen.

What should I do exactly so I can flash a custom ROM again, because currently the only thing that is working is stock ROM.

I'd suggest trying to format data, in Twrp in the wipe section should be a button on the bottom end that says Format data, Erase it Flash all from a stock image and reinstall twrp.

Are you referring to the same format data that makes you type in "yes" before doing it? I did that too but I didnt try to re-install TWRP.

And currently after the wipe im on stock recovery so I'm going to go back to The Flashs TWRP that he made as opposed to the latest version of TWRP that prompts for an app install at the end. As I never had this issue on Flashs TWRP

Thanks for the suggestion.

Flash stock image via fastboot with flash all, check OEM unlock to dev options, lock and unlock the bootloader to completely wipe your phone. Don't forget checking dev options for OEM unlock between lock and unlocking. flash latest official twrp and try custom rom again.
