Flashing Moto 1s (Chinese version of Moto G6) with US Retail ROM?

Hi

I received a Moto 1s, which is the Chinese version of Moto G6. It runs ZUI, a Lenovo variant of Oreo.

Is it safe to flash directly a US retail stock ROM (Oreo or Pie) from this list?

I managed to unlock the bootloader.

Does anyone have similar experience "converting" a recent model Chinese Moto in this manner?

Of course you can. Although it is XT1925-10, but I have flashed it from ZUI to PPS29.118-15-11 in Oct.2019, using RSD_Lite_v6.2.4
And now I 'm to flash it to the new PPSS29.55-37-7-2, or PPSS29.118-15-11-5.

One question, if I may. Is it necessary to exclude and not flash a file named gpt.bin?

I was worried that something like the OEM partition or basebands would be messed up. However, I guess LMSA should be able to rescue a bricked phone if we stick with stock ROMs.

Incidentally, how do you find Pie on the XT1925-10? Is everything reliable with better battery life, compared to Oreo? In particular, is dual SIM working properly on both Oreo and Pie?

Will OTA updates be available on the XT1925-10 after flashing a RETAIL stock ROM for other XT1925 versions?

yo tengo un problema con xt1925-10 solo tiene 3g, y al instalar otra ROM por fastboot solo vuelve a la misma ROM China con un baseband chino

Por supuesto que puede. Aunque es XT1925-10, lo he actualizado de ZUI a PPS29.118-15-11 en octubre de 2019, usando RSD_Lite_v6.2.4
Y ahora debo actualizarlo al nuevo PPSS29.55-37-7-2 o PPSS29.118-15-11-5.

But It seems the Chinese version and the Asian-Pacific version（RETAPAC）has a different front camera（16MP）
I have a RETAPAC version（XT1925-7）and I wonder cross flashing may cause the front camera unusable.
