Hi,
I followed this post to update my Note 8 to Oreo. I didn't read it carefully enough to realize that its firmware is N950U, which brings all the good bloatwares and carrier firmware. Now, I would like to revert back to Nougat 7.1.1 with stock/pure Samsung firmware. Before messing my phone up, the baseband version was N950USQU1AQI5. My phone's carrier is XAA (the phone is factory unlocked). I have looked everywhere to find this firmware but the only one I find that is XAA is N950U1UEU1AQI5, which is for the U1 models not U (mine is N950UZKAXAA).
Can some one PLEASE help me get rid of Oreo and this carrier firmware and restore my phone to the original firmware it shipped with?

i think Oreo might have the bootloader v3, so you probably cant go back to what it shipped with (bootloader v1 or v2). You might be able to flash BRA5 and whatever was right before it (which is 7.1.1) because that did have the v3 bootloader.

I think U1 is for the unlocked model, so I'm pretty sure thats what you'd want to be flashing.

1. Download SamFirm
2. put in "SM-N950U1" for Model and "XAA" for region

By the way, I think this is the wrong forum for the Note8
