Flashing WW ROM and Changing CN fingerprint to WW

I was exactly want to ask the same question. First...I'm new on this. Just brought the tencent Rog 2 with global rom v1909.12_0. unable to do manual update. What I need is just change the fingerprint to ww & unroot In order todo the manual update. Can someone show the step by step guide for this? Thank you. This is the best forum that I ever join.

This is the right thread, just read the OP (original post) and remove the spaces from the links (at the beginning of the links there is a space somewhere). Follow all the steps, yes, it might be an older raw rom than what you currently have, but once done you can go ahead and flash /install 1910.35

Also, after you've followed the steps (you can stop in the instructions before unroot and re lock bootloader if you want to stay rooted) install device info hw from playstore to check your rom, product id and fingerprint all match on ww

Yes, if your starting from step 3 then you need the matching root img for your rom. One moment, I'll see if I can find it...

Ah, yes, good question. I don't have it. Perhaps someone in the know will advise too, but I don't see why you can't update to the latest rom version first (since the last version thread I posted has stock and root img's), then proceed with the steps to unroot and relock bootloader...

successfuly converted 1906 to 1907.33 but still no OTA update?

I believe the OTA here means that you can put in the OTA file into your root folder. Reboot and update.

No,, you need to flash the corresponding boot img to your rom version..
Edit, unless I've posted 1908.12 img's somewhere, u can't remember... I no longer have links for those though I don't think...

Can I lock the bootloader without wiping data and factory reset?
3) While on fastboot mode and ADB, Relock the bootloader and run "fastboot oem asus-csc_lk"

- this will relock your bootloader

4) After relocking the bootloader it will erase everything up automatically. If not, boot to recovery mode and wipe/reset. You are done!

please help me.

The only thing that worked for me is:
1- I downloaded a previous version of raw ROM from other site.
2- I then used flashboot program that was inside the folder of the ROM and connected my phone at fastboot
3- after 7 min I got a message on the phone that the files are curupted and I got the choice to wipe data and reset and I did that.
4- the phone worked perfectly with the new ROM and after that I downloaded the latest version Of WW ROM and the phone detected it and start updating
N.B:
Sorry if the explanation is not clear, I have never done this before and I tried my best to explain.
