The fix is not working anymore I think.
I have MGCOL2, Android 5.1.1, MSM8909, new 2018 IONIQ.
Tried installing the update but it says "update failed".
Tried factory reset and then installing update - same thing.
Tried updating (or downgrading) to the 500MB file given in iAndroid forums - then installing the update - same thing.
BTW, the flyupdata.flp does not have any files inside, only directories (flyupdata/install/). Is that normal?
This is so frustrating.. paying 40k$ for a car that doesn't even have Google Maps nor Spotify... sad.
Oh, and to the Israelis that post the iAndroid forum: the links don't work and you can't reply or post there. I think XDA is the place for this talk.
Please advise,
Best regards,

The problem of waking up - no problem firmware. This problem can be solved by replacing sim card to another operator, for many, this problem is solved in this way.
So as this problem may cause the application that you use.
This is not a problem in 95% of users.
So as many people have this problem does not appear when you change the device settings. There is a point, which regulates battery voltage at which the device is switched off completely.
I'll post the January firmware later.
Thanks all for the data,
Sorry, but I got confused (after reading 31 pages) ..., can someone assist what is the latest stable release for Outlander 2016 system that supports Google Play?
Can I add only the Google Play app in some way or need to upload the entire Firmware?
@004 can you assist here as well?
Thanks in advance,
Guy

Hi guys,
I hope i am in the right place...
I have an android system installed in my Mitsubishi, but the local importer of the system, has "locked" the system by removing the Google play app, file manager and all ability to make any changes.
Is there a way I can add back the Google play so i can add a few apps to the system? The system has a USB port.
FLY AUDIO MODEL G8023H19
Thanks,
For me, the new launcher to be honest I do not like at all ....
And when we did the black theme - just super Now.
And a bonus for freeloaders from Israel)))
2016 September 23
The new launcher, all inclusive
The appearance will be like Now. Differences not. Only running Google Play and is the root.

Hyunday - https://yadi.sk/d/0nwORMr93Da3mJ
Much to ask - do not upload files to other forums, just let us link.
P.S.- For very silly again - If you take my file and spread on its own behalf - you just fag
In the photo, my firmware with a black theme and the old launcher and photo running on Google and Root Hyundai Ionic with Android 5.1.1.
Good luck and good.

Hi, I also have the 2019 version of 4.4.2.
How do I get the files…?
Did you get it working?I feel like this thread is going around and around in circles, with no real answer. And yet... I'll try my luck anyway.
I have a 2019 Mitsubishi Outlander with the FlyAudio G8000 installed (MGCOL_MITSU2). Obviously, the system is "locked"... can anybody please help me with a working method to get other apps installed on it? I don't need a full hack, with Google Play and everything - I'm happy even to just get a few specific apps installed, like Spotify and Amazon Music. Any advice for how I can get this done, please?
Did you get it to work?Hello.
I have bought hyundai elantra 2017, it has MGCOL1 - MSM8226 - Android 4.4.2,
I took usb drive, formated it under fat32,
Put two files:
Update to 17.1.2017 and the patch,
Booted device into recovery mode,
Made "restore factory" than auto update to update to the new version and than made "update the basesystem".
All the steps seems worked well, i got messages like installing, unpacking, updating and etc. I didnt get errors.
The issue is, after all when multimedia booting up there is no google play market, no browser and file manager, i see only the apps that came with it.
Someone knows what the problem and can help?
yes. you found the solution? The same issue for me.
When try to load from USB i get message "Ensure the storage Device Have Package"
Great new for my friends (Israelian friends).
There is FREE solution for our Hyundai/ Mitsubishi system.
Please follow our local iandroid portal and get it opened free!!!
The method works 100%
no need to replace all firmware.
from recovery choose Advanced --> then "flyapdata UPDATE" only!!!
After process finished , reboot the system and will have on the application list new 4 applications that will make your life simpler.
