Fly audio android car system

Hi, has anyone gotten this working? I have a 2018 Ioniq with the MGCOL2 5.1.1, and am trying to get a more functional operating system like Android Auto or CarPlay on my multimedia system.

Hi,
My MGCOL1 mitsubishi stopped receiving waze updates and it's not working. Also it's not in the google play anymore. Does it have to do with the android version beeing too old? Can it be updated?

I don't know if it will help, but I managed to access to the Google app. The Google play services is still missing, and you don't have a browser or play, but maybe we can find something from there (although I guess the app installer itself is also missing, and if so, we can't install anything).

To access to the Google app, go to settings -> about -> legal -> open source license.
Click on one of the links.
Now you're on the HTML Viewer.
Long press on the text to select it.
Now you can see the button "search in Google"

I worked a lot to try to install it, but it seems my HY i25 2018 is not reading the USB.

Always getting "Ensure the storage device have package"

Are you sure the USB is in the correct format? Because I was able to install but the update is really broken and not much works there

I have the same issue, i've tried every format and have tried 6 different types of DOK. Every time when booted into recovery i receive the message "ensure the storage device have package" if you figured it out id love to hear how you circumvented this issue.

As to anyone else on this forum i've searched every corner of the internet, but i havnt been able to find a solution to root, or even successfully rollback my headunit. if anyone has any advise or resources that they havnt posted id appreciate it. All i want is the ability to add spotify, and android auto.

is just say ( loading recovery ) black screen and again and again and don't go out

How to add custom apks

Hi,
In order to add more apks: (I've tried it with file explorer, browser, google play service, youtube)
Extract a file named flyapdata.flp under the root folder of the update file (I used flyupdate-19-09-16.fup, which is a zip file)
flyapdata.flp is actually a zip file
it contains 2 folders:
config - which contains a file named excludedElements.txt with various evil restrictions to waze and other applications, which can be changed
install - put all your apks in this folder.
Now put back the new flyapdata.flp into the rom fup file.
Restart in recovery and install the rom
Enjoy

1) 2016 firmware, auto update
2) 2017 may firmware, auto update

I tried to flash this firmware with google apps, it didnt work. After i made factory reset since then i have black screen. And now it cant reed any file from any usb key.

I have Hyundai Ioniq 2018
Model: MGCOL2
Android ver: 5.1.1 msm8909

I tried to update the version but it stuck on "loading recovery"
After 10-15 seconds its turn of then turn on and again the same loading

How I can exit recovery mode? I can do something or its dead?
