I used Paranoid Android Hybrid with CM10 2.13 Rom
i flashed the kernel and all works well and smoothly except the wifi seems doesnt work.could you please fix the problems?
to change to other rom is the last thing i want to do as ive been a lot of hassle setting here and there, and not to mentions bundle of apps ive installed -.-
Yet again, you should be using fxp145 at least. Which paranoid android doesnt yet do.

On a positive note, pacman has updated and flykernel should be working with pacman now :victory:

Read the PACman thread :) says to disable lockscreen before flashing

thx, just read it. strange that i had no problem after flashing pac-kernel+v16.
after Flykernel bootloop went back to pac-kernel, but problem remained.
now trying to reflash v16, to see if i can unlock the sim-pin.

nope, same problem, so have to go back to nandroid backup :'-(

Has anyone had problems with retaining CPU governor and clock speed settings? Initially setup us smartassv2 and 1209MHz max, I've had instances where the system is in deep sleep, receives a call, and resets to interactive and 134MHz max. A bl**dy pain when you're trying to answer the phone! I've not noticed this with the ROM before (on bundled kernel) and I suspect it has something to do with having SetXperia running in the background, though I've not got round to playing with any settings in the app yet so consider that unconfigured. Any replication?

Using kernel v3 and FXP145 CM10.

I have had a lot of trouble with SetXperia on the RAY...there are a lot of other options for controlling your cpu...I like Incredicontrol, because it works with out being super fancy....

It occurred to me that as we need to flash the wi-fi module zip via CWM in any ROM we choose to use, it might be an opportunity to create a single "flash pack" containing these modules plus other useful JB tweaks. I have been actively monitoring ROM threads (FXP and PACman particularly) and come up with a selection that I like to use specifically with FXP145, perhaps others might find it handy.

The linked zip file contains;
  • FlyKernel v3 Wi-Fi Modules
  • Bravia Engine
  • xLoud Engine
  • Xperia S Keyboard
  • Build prop tweaks for battery

FlashPack_v1

None of this is my work per se, I have simply compiled the efforts of others into a single one-shot file in an effort to stop my SD card getting any more cluttered than it already is. The keyboard is available in many threads though thanks and acknowledgement goes particularly to Wechy77 for the engines and build prop tweaks, I refer you to his threads for fuller explanations of each element.

Please Note: The text file is included for reference and shows what lines are added to the FXP145 build prop by a script in the zip file. There is already a line in FXP145 buildprop for wifi.supplicant_scan_interval=15. This is superseded by the value in the build prop tweaks for battery. You should remove the original line after installing the "flash pack."

On the suggestions of others, I have started a thread on this kind of thing http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1979982

Nice pack. Thanks for making it. Maybe you should start your own thread and expand the functions and tweaks?
