I just read that article as well as rushed over here to see if the great developers on here could possibly get it to work. I doubt i would ever use it (Pandora & Slacker > my FM radio broadcasts in my town) but it could be cool to have.

It also said it was a transmitter so we could also output music or FM to our cars. Again i wouldn't use it as i have an aux plug in my car stereo system but again, it could be handy.

FM may be outdated, but sometimes the morning commute is best spent with a local DJ. Haven't seen anything about HD radio in android devices yet.

Just putting my backing behind being able to transmit fm from the phone, great in a car or at lowfi friends houses.
