main downside is that box does not have a desktop client.
so you can't sync data between your phone and desktop.

also they have been giving away 50gb free since forever to practically everyone.

I have been using BOX desktop clients for over a year. Pretty great sync. I prefer this over dropbox.

For Windows you can find a Desktop Client under https://www.box.com/download-box-sync/

You also can get a Windows 8 box app :)

My bad, when I first signed up for box with the free 50gb with the HP touchpad the boxsync desktop client was not available for personal users.

Nice to see that it now is.

i did it and didn't get nothing so wanted to ask if some one else got
way are so angry
To give you a proper response, it would appear that that answer is no.

I signed in with my existing 50GB account and sadly didn't get an additional 50GB.

It would appear it's the standard 50GB giveaway they've been doing for years, and just being marketed to make out Sony has done something amazing.

I've never liked box as much as Dropbox, I don't know why, it's totally unfounded, but I always go back to Dropbox. I think it may be the fact that they give away so much storage for free all the time, makes me wonder why.
