If you purchased a Nook within the last 30 days, you also qualify for a cover. Simply bring your receipt in and they will return/re-purchase and give you your choice of cover $49.99 or less.. Online the ad states $49.99 limit...Printed ad shows $39.99 limit...Store employee says the limit is $49.99...

Although I am not real impressed with the cases, they are sure worth it for free.. I went in and got mine today.

I think I might just order it online... I was looking through my local store the other day, and all their stock of covers looked like they had been opened and returned, and I'm not sure if I want to play roulette with those. Nothing is in stock of course, but I'm not in a hurry anyway.

All our covers were opened as well, except for the one I bought.

I checked out the Industriell Easel Cover and thought it was really flimsy..

I bought the regular Industriell Cover. I like it better and you can bend the cover back to prop it landscape.

Regardless, I am disappointed with them all (at BB)...They are really built very cheaply..The box and packing material is heavier than the cover itself, but for free I can't complain.

There is no specific cases as far as I know...If its for an e-reader it should qualify

I went to buy a nook tonight and there's not a one to be had in Omaha. I ordered one online for instore delivery and was still able to get the free case.

The targus case does apply. I brought my receipt in and they had no issues with getting me the case. This one is a bit tight, but does fit with the nook color:

Very sleek and nice, nook fits great inside, just what I wanted too. I usually carry my nook in my backpack to school each day, rather than lugging my laptop around campus, others around me are always astounded when they see me using my nook as a full android tablet With this case if you put something behind it you could also stand it up as an easel in landscape!

i was a few days over the 30 and took the chance. talked to a manager and they allowed me to pick up cases for each of the nooks i purchased. super surprised best buy was willing to do this!

I bought my NC and got the industriell easel case. I returned that yesterdaay and got the M-EDGE Latitude cover. It's for the nook but it fits the nc. Its snug but I like the zipper and it has a pocket where I can keep my micro sd card adapter.

Forgot to post here and thank you for this post. I bought my Nook last Friday after work, and I was planning on just going to B&N and buying it there.

Luckily I read this post while at work, so I went to Best Buy and bought the Nook there and got me a free case.
