Moto got back and said my receipt is no good and I need to send them a receipt with July date.

Maybe the other Guy got away with it cause it was 7th of some month and they read it like an American.

I think I might have been rumbled somehow as I sent that off on Friday last week and so far haven't heard a peep from them after the email confirming they had received my request.

Guess I was just lucky then. Receipt clearly showed 18th march 2011 that's how its written on the receipt.
I took a picture of the PDF I got emailed when I pre ordered from Dixon's.

Can't see that they check the store as Dixon's wasn't even an option on the web form, so I selected curry's.

Well my bit of receipt amending seems to have done the trick. I got an email this afternoon saying my order had been dispatched by UPS next day delivery. As I'm on holiday and not home for a week I can't verify it. I've asked my Dad to keep an eye out for it as he works at the local depot. I'll keep an eye on the tracking number.

Mine was delivered today. My Dad intercepted it at the depot so it will be waiting for me when I return from my hols.
£75 worth of keyboard and mouse plus next day delivery for nothing is quite impressive if you ask me.

I emailed back telling them the email they wouldnt accept is the only proof i have since i bought online, then i just got the automated reponse saying you're on the list, and just now i got the email saying it's dispatched. It'll be here tomorrow.

My story

Pre ordered my Xoom on the 14th of march ( so my pop has that date)

Requested my free keyboard on the 15th of July
I got no response from then after the first email saying "Thank you for registering for the Motorola XOOM™ Free Wireless Keyboard and Mouse promotion "

On the 26th I sent this email to [email protected]

atrix was the phone that could dock as a laptop
so keyboard and mouse and monitor would be useful

i did think it strange they would send a bluetooth mouse when 3.0.1 didnt support bt mice...?

I know the atrix has the laptop dock thing. But if you had a large text to send on the go would you really whip out a fullsized keyboard in the street its just crazy.

And yes I thought it was odd UK people can get the mouse but not use it.
