Thank you for ordering Poetic Slimline Case for Google Nexus 7 FHD 2nd Gen. Since this product’s release, we have received and reviewed your Feedback. We found three common issues in your feedback on this case that we are working to resolve for you.

1.Case causes tablet to go to sleep when case is folded back.
2.Tight fit around tablet causing difficulty removing the case
3.Magnetic strength on closure causing difficulty to open - We will be removing the middle one of the three magnets.

We apologize for these issues, but are appreciative of your feedback. To resolve these issues we will be releasing an improved final version of this case. Customers who have purchased our original version of SlimLine for Google Nexus 7 FHD 2nd Gen will be shipped automatically a FREE of charge replacement of our improved final version of SlimLine for Google Nexus 7 FHD 2nd Gen, without needing to contact us.

We are expecting to ship our improved final version of SlimLine for Google Nexus 7 FHD 2nd Gen out around Sept 20th 2013. You don’t need to contact us, we will automatically send out free replacement out for you.

What? Seriously? I don't think they are gonna do that for international orders, would they?
I ordered mine, and it was shipped on 23rd august. Estimated date of delivery is 9th sept. I haven't yet received my first, and I haven't got any mail like this either.

I go the email a little less than an hour ago. The email does state "Customers who have purchased our original version of SlimLine for Google Nexus 7 FHD 2nd Gen will be shipped automatically a FREE of charge replacement of our improved final version of SlimLine for Google Nexus 7 FHD 2nd Gen, without needing to contact us." I have to assume that means anyone who purchased it no matter where you are.

I understand that, but seeing that you received such a mail and I didn't, makes me think they might not be doing the same with international orders. Maybe, I should wait for some time, for the mail to arrive.

OP, could you check to see if you ordered it from Amazon? I bought mine from Amazon and no email for me.
I received the same e-mail this morning from Smart Shop Online through Amazon. The e-mail subject was "Feedback request from Amazon seller Smart Shop Online". I ordered mine from Amazon on August 12th through Smart Shop Online.

I think that these improvements are all going to be great for the case. The original was okay, but with the improvements it should be much nicer and more polished. I am still unhappy with the general feel of the case (The leather especially feels inexpensive to me), but I am very happy with Poetic in general for doing this for their customers. This is my first Poetic purchase, and I must say I'm very happy with them as a company!

I actually emailed them yesterday for a warranty on a Kindle fire hd bluetooth keyboard case combo that stopped working. Hoping I hear anything from them. I find the lack of phone number disconcerting.

I got mine from Amazon (sold by Smart Shop Online) around the 28th of August. No email about a replacement. Original order was Aug 18, out of stock, expected shipping Sept 3 or so, bit came early. No problems really except for the magnet "turn on" not working all the time, but if they want to send me a better one, I'll gladly accept.

I bought the red one too, two days before they were available (August 28th), and I got the email today.

The first one seems to be working just fine for me, but a second case doesn't hurt :D
