If you mean the voice commands, then no. They only work in Chinese and English. Everything else also work in German. You could use Google voice assistant to control music.

Got my FB 2 today (not pro), updated the pods to 129 (thanks to @MirageBlader) and yes HWA is working! pods fits well and dosn't fall that easily unless you bang your head on a wall

Audio quality is excellent, no drops in audio. downloaded a Hi-Res audio sample 24 bit/ 96 KHz to check if HWA supports it, noticed that HWA supports max 24 bit/ 48 KHz audio. This means the digital processing is "GOLD" standard ("PLATINUM" standard is the one that supports 24 bit/ 96 KHz) , may be in future we can expect "PLATINUM" standard buds which means quite close to studio quality audio..

in developer mode I see following options:

a) Bluetooth Audio codec: SBC, AAC and HWA
b) BT audio sample rate: 44.1 kHz and 48 kHz
c) BT audio bits per second: 16 and 24 bits per sec
d) BT audio channel mode: stere (mono is greyed out)
e) BT audio HWA playback quality:
optimized for connection quality: 400KB/s
Balanced audio and conn. quality: 500/560 KB/s
Optimized for audio quality: 900 KB/s --> I have this on
f) BT audio HWA latency: low (50-100 ms), mid (150-200 ms) and high(300-400 ms) --> I have low latency on

Bass, mid and highs are excellently tuned. The lowest effective bass frequency is 15 Hz (depends on your ear but for me 15 Hz thump can be felt). No delay between pods

I wished Huawei app could have in-app audio/mic settings like in case of Jabra Elite 65t. To get the best of Audio we can bet on Viper4Android but I have decided not to root my phone for that.

I installed an app called Easy voice recorder pro in which I can set audio source as bluetooth, recording is Mono and format is PCM (0.9 KB/s) and record quality is decent, not crystal clear or crisp, but decent enough. The noise cancellation is pretty much intrusive and noticeable, am yet to check actual call quality, will update later.

I had plans of buying Jabra Evolve 65t but I bought this mainly for HWA High-res audio listening experience. All-to-all I am not disappointed, the case is compact and is light in weight, can be carried in pocket.

I also tried Freebuds 2 on my Ticwatch Pro watch and I was happy with music quality and also no audio drops.

Glad you like them. Do you have any pop-up page showing when open the charging box with the battery imformations? Do you have any Bone Voice ID Settings in the settings -> security & privacy settings on the phone?
As i though, HWA comes with 171 or higher.

I have mate 20 pro with firmware 171 and i update firmawre freebuds 2 To 129
I have enabled HWA
Still no difference in sound quality
And my only concern about it that sound is low not like apple airpod
I hope there update for that issue

Great work translating the app.
Too bad I had to send back my Honor Flypods 2 Pro to China because I believe they were defectives :
-A blank electrical sound was heard mainly on left pod (but also a little bit on right one) as soon pods were out of sleep mode.

This could be circumvented on computer while totally disabling inside mic...
Which is not possible on emui8 or emui9.

no popup page showing. I see a toast message showing battery percentage, that's it. I bought freebuds 2, not pro, mainly because Bone voice ID is fairly new and I can't put my trust on it's credibility. so no bone voice ID settings for me. Another thing to add: wireless charging and reverse wireless charging both are working fine..

I felt that we need three battery indicators (in numbers) for pods (may be separately for left and right pod) and the case instead of battery icons, I prefer numbers.

well, I wished I could assist you in modding the app but I am a hardware engineer

I also request rest of the XDA members to support in app development.

are you on 171? if not then you need M20P 171 to get hwa support, if yes then maybe factory reset might help. I got hwa enabled only after FB2 129 update.

Cant get past user agreement startup page. Theres no "agree" button to click? I have a galaxy s8. Shouldnt the freebuds 2 pro apk work with all android devices?

The Flypods App work perfect thank you for the translation, but actually the app don't do anything maybe because I'm not using Huawei Device I'm using Oneplus.
Do you know any app that show a pop up of the battery
