Try Zedge from the playstoreHow does I add ring tones to HTC one?
Sent from my HTCONE using xda premium
Thanks I figured it out... Had to copy the music files to my virtual SD card using my pc. Then used root explorer to move the files into the sys folder Media /ring tones. Had to do it that way because the sys folder doesn't show when I explore the HTC one contents on the internal memory from my PC. thanks for replying. Much appreciatedTry Zedge from the playstore
are the usb ports 2.0 or 3.0, the later has been known to have issues.Hey guys, have a major problem I would love some help with. I bought a used Htc one from ebay but when I got it (while cosmetically phone is perfect) when I plug it into my 2 pcs, or laptop, it reads unknown device. Or "USB device not recognized". Also the phone only charges when it's off. The most progress if you can call it that is that it sometimes reads the usb cable as a usb host cable, that's it tho. I really want to unlock b/loader and flash a custom rec. but I'm stuck and would LOVE some help. I tried usb degugging, 10 different ports and cables but no dice.
I'm sending you a PM stand bySorry if this has already been asked, the search forum function is not working right now for me.
Is there a thread that describes the ins and outs of installing ROMS on the Sprint HTC One? I have not had a rooted phone for a few years now and need to relearn how things work and what has changed now that I don't have S-OFF.
One question I have is this. "Is there any precautions I need to follow on this phone when installing ROMS to make sure I don't lose NFC functionality?"
I am running stock 1.29.651.10 and need to know what ROMS I can install and what to avoid. I am looking at Stock with Goodies 1.18 from flex360, but would like more info before flashing. I started to install this in recovery/twrp but was warned that it may not work with my phone. Is this a standard message just to remind us that if the ROM is not designed for the phone there may be issues, or is this only displayed when you are about to mess things up?
Another question is "Can I install ROMS directly through recovery/twrp, or do I need to also use a computer to flash the ROM?
