If you used Rumrunner to S-OFF you shouldn't have the dev disclamer
I believe I used Revone months ago, when I took the OTA update I thought my hboot was safe because I was S-OFF. Despite hboot 1.55 and the like that came with the update I still have S-OFF so I was thinking that I should be able to downgrade my hboot to 1.44. I just don't want to do the hboot downgrade until I know it's safe to do so, scared I might brick my device. Should I just go back to S-ON and then redo S-OFF with Rumrunner to remove the dev disclaimer?

Okay last question and then I'll follow Rumrunner instructions. Running Rumrunner with S-OFF already wont hurt? Or do I need to find instructions to get back to S-ON first? Sorry for all the stupid questions but I cant afford to have a brick. You've been a big help already and it's much appreciated.

1) How can i disable the HFA before flash the sprint rom, for i use a GSM sim card.
2) Can I remove the label Sprint when loading phone?
Can you please ask this in Q&A? I don't know the answer to either question, you will most likely get more help there. :)
If you find your answer please report back and I'll add to the guide.

Hey guys, is it possible to flash the M7wls to Verizon? Is the hardware all compatible/the same across CDMA models? Anyone have experience with this?

Alternate question: would it hurt to try flashing Verizon? After making a nand backup? If I brick it could I restore this backup?

Thanks all,

Okay, recently I've learned that I will have to flash stock vzw radios and kernel also, to get all the components to work. Is this prone to permanent brick? Again, I think...think that all the CDMA models should be mostly the same.

Thanks,

Thank you!

Thanks for this guide. I have been lurking for a few years and recently got my Sprint HTC One stuck in a boot loop. This troubleshooting guide pointed me to the tools and information I needed to get back to stock.
Thanks!!!:good:

Suggested additions to Q6

Hey brother!
Under Q6 recoveries, may I suggest adding:
TWRP Touch Recovery by tdhite (it's more customized to the Sprint HTC One and seems to work the best)
Recovery Flasher by rootlinux (allows for flashing recoveries from in recovery making the process super easy)

Also, under Q10 s-off, you don't have Firewater listed.

Thanks for reminding me of those.

Another Stupud Question:

I have an GSM Htc one with a branding.
Means the CID is not like the one from Carrier unlocked Devices.
Dies this matter if i want to install a Custom Rom on it? Or is the CID no Condition of a custom rom?
Its the same from the hardware though, but i wanna go sure

Can you move this to Q&A you will most likely get a response there.
