I just got a new 64gb memory card. I put all my music and twrp backups on it already. I went to install Barin this morning and I went to backup my current rom, but twrp doesn't recognize my card. Any suggestions? Do I reformat it, and of yes, can it be done on the phone? Tia

There's been some discussions on that in this forum somewhere. But I can't find it now.
If I remember right, they couldn't use the phone to fix it. I think it was a program.

Ok. I'm sure if I googled and read lots of different things, I could probably resolve this. Sorry, but I've run out of time and figured I'd ask here.

So. I have and/fastboot. installed via a one click installer and I can't seem to get and working. I also can't seem to get Windows 7 to recognize usb storage. Even when notification panel says 'connected as mass storage device', Windows 7 still doesn't see it. It sees my HTC m7 just fine. They both do. Is it a driver issue? Much thanks. I gotta be up for work in this and just don't have time to Chase maybe links

Thanks.

64Gig cards all come formatted as exFAT. Unfortunately, the version of TWRP that was bumped for us has a bug, and won't recognized exFAT cards. You'll need to reformat it to FAT32. Neither the phone nor Windows will do that. I used a utility call EaseUS Partition Master to reformat mine. See here for more info:

If you don't have an SD card reader, see this thread:

After installing ext SD on here, file system is a mess. /sdcard goes to internal storage. /storage goes to /sdcard0 and extsd and /storage /emulated goes to sdcard0 or ext or usbstorage1 - usbstorage6. Anyone know if all the repeats if files are symlinked, or or they really repeated and tripled? TIA

You must be on a stock rom, when I'm stock, that's what I see, when on aosp, like now, this is what I see, kinda gotten used to it back on note 2, I'm pretty sure its just the new file system

Yup. Still stock. Busy last few days. Now with vanir and candy about to start enjoying this. Will miss LGs really nice remote, though. The ones in the market (I've bout one or two) have way more option, but not nearly as streamlined, intuitive and simple. In fact, I love on stock how it's in the notification panel.

I know on barrin engine said he stripped lg bloat. Anyone know if he left remote in?

It's still there.

So, I flashed zv6 last night. Went fine. Flashed vanir after. Went fine. I wanna go reflash zv6, but since that ROM came with radios, would it be bad to reflash that zip (flash same radio on top if itself)? Do I need to pull any modem imgs from zip first? Thanks.

It'll be fine. Why didn't you just make a backup and restore? Its a lot easier

Didn't bother setting it up, so didn't bother nand backup. Also, nandroid backups always end up being bigger than ROM zips, and I'm already tight for space.

Thanks for the reply, though. Crossing fingers lol.
