Why should I root?

I had the Note 3 with ATT. Rooted to take advantage of some features being a TMO customer. I now have the TMO SM-N900T. I've searched the forums and unless I am missing it, what are the advantages of rooting the N900T? I am happy with TW. Thank you.

I'm not sure what the difference is feature wise between AT&T's Note 3, but with T-mobile depending on the ROM you can get unlimited tethering (instead of 2 gigs or whatever the limit is now.) Once your phone starts to throttle you can bypass that if you change your APN settings. There are ALOT of ROMs, especially international ones. Hopefully they will let you unlock it soon so you can use all the cellular towers.

4) Tasker and Titanium Backup
5) Adblock and Youtube addaway
6) Call recorder
7) AppOps
8) Disabling Full Screen keyboard in portrait mode
9) Removing annoying msgs like Wireless Charging, Google Network Location consent
10) LMT Pie amazing it is!
11) Whatsapp+ and Whatsapp Toolbox (for ninja msging)

These are just some. Also some notification bar mods,

I'm sorry, I don't know about your dongle. But I have a chromecast, and screen mirror works flawlessly. I can even watch movies and play games over screen mirroring. It may be your ROM. Maybe try with stock/different ROM and check?

If you have a Note 3 N900T then you can successfully
flash any roms you find in the Tmobile Note 3 forum.

Then you want the Note 3 International forum for N9005.

When I click on it, it pulls up an empty thread and says at the bottom invalid id is 3. As far as where I live, Oklahoma. I'm a redneck it tech from that FAR AWAY country OKLAHOMA.
