Can u still boot up into recovery?

---------- Post added at 03:09 AM ---------- Previous post was at 03:01 AM ----------

Just so u are aware, if u can get it back up and running, root is deactivated in cm13.(most mm Roms) All u need to do is open dev options, and allow root access.

But if u can still manually boot into ur recovery (twrp or cm) just reflash cm13 and gapps if not try to Odin back to stock
My mistake, I was using the wrong file for stock.

After 1.tar installed my usb connectivity stopped working. Tried 2 different computers and I can't get Android device to mount anymore. I'm stuck in Recovery and cannot ADB over the 2.tar file. Anyway to get out of "system recovery" ?

Unplug your device pull battery, boot into download mode. Reset odin plug in device then click ap find tar 2 select it hit start phone should reboot back to where you left off.

Neither Odin nor ADB will find the device now that 1.tar is installed.
I did a adb kill-server followed by adb devices and it shows nothing. Tried 2 different computers with same result. My Android USB appears FRIED and I'm stuck in Recovery from 1.tar installing.

I had same problem you had except my USB is fine. That's how I know flashing the tar 2 will get your phone back. These methods so far have not worked for me I followed both tutorials and nothing.

UPDATE works on unlocked bootloader I had it fail once so I switched cords I did use a new Samsung USB 3.0 to see if it would work it did. Also I had media transfer on when it failed tick it to off when you transfer files when first plugging it in. Then make sure you check developer mode on and USB debugging. Then have phone screen on open Yemen then phone will ask permission check always allow this pc, that way you don't have to press it any more. Click check phone it found phone then click install root wait don't touch or move anything. Rebooted phone twice first to download mode. Took 1 minute 34 seconds. I'm now installing super su like everyone should then rebooting then checking root with root checker.

Also for those of you wondering does this root method trip knox on locked bootloader NO I checked it did not trip knox. If you unlock your bootloader you will trip it. Yemen is safe.

It worked in my case

I had to upgrade my rooted Verizon Note 3 JB 4.3 to play Pokemon Go with my family. I was able to flash new firmware through Odin 3.3 to get it up to Lollipop OF1, but I lost root. I have very little background working with cell phones, but I can read instructions. I can attest that this method worked for me without the slightest problem, and I now have a rooted Note 3 running Lollipop. Thank you to the Yemeni group that provided this tool.

Im confused as to what to do when Odin3 pops up on the PC. What options and files should I be choosing? The command line says [2] installing root. The note 3 says downloading dont turn off and has Odin mode in the top left, but its sat here for a half hr, im not sure what i should be doing on the pc?

I think I bricked my phone. After I clicked PDA, installed tar.1 it did its thing and then the phone rebooted. It rebooted into recovery mode though. No matter what I tried (even tried factory reset) I cant get it to stop booting back into recovery boot. What can I try to fix it?

I restarted using vol done, power, home and then vol up to get back to download mode. I then hit the PDA button and loaded tar.2 to get my phone operational again. I am not rooted though? What do I need to do now?
