I have 2 tegra notes (vegas) - second one's my son's. One rooted, one not. One on Lollipop, one on kitkat. One chock full of crappy games, one not. The front camera doesn't work (at all) on either of them - probably never has, but it's only recently that I've tried them (for skype). Tried a few different apps, tried after factory reset, before and after lollipop upgrade - all they do is either show a pixellated screen or crash whichever camera app I'm trying.
Wondered if anyone had the same issue?
One (probably irrelevant) thing the tablets have in common - they've both had the usb port replaced under warranty.
I know the front cameras are rubbish, but it would be nice if I could get them to work. TIA for any suggestions.
