Front Camera Sensor?

Can anyone check and confirm the front camera sensor used in their phone? You can check the sensor info from AIDA64 app or developer code of MIUI *#*#6484#*#* and then go to version info

Omnivision is a low quality sensor. That's why front cam pics are not that good. What about the LCD? Tianma right?

The only thing holding them back is the processing done by the camera app. Try a Gcam to see the difference.

I do agree with you but the phone is quite same as compared to note 5 pro as i have compared and the quality is same almost. I don't even notice any difference. And I think that they should have improved the front camera with future update or so.

Got it. Anyways I am waiting for a Gcam which would use the full potential of these sensors.
