i don't think many should worry about language, the edtion is based on a WWE edtion which includes many,many languages for menu support.. its common within htc sections that what i think is named WorldWideEdtion has no language problems, except maybe RTL and sometimes china, where specific fonts and such is needed, which i even think works here..
so it can be adapted to Korean edition too..

As long as mobile data is working id definately use a rom that doesnt have Bluetooth.

i just did a quick test of neocore, only 41.4. semms not impressive comparing to my folio with 60.

general use seems ok, htc browser with flash enabled seem less good, but im doing move playback, maybe thats it...havent tried so much, flash could also be running less good if it thinks it a htc with native cpu support, which it havent got..

i will not be looking at it today, so no more status updates at this stage, except maybe testing..

Around 41 is normal for the Defy whether you run it with 800Mhz or 1250Mhz.
Any progress on mobile data?

that was at 1Ghz i recall when opening overclock app..
so 3D really not seem affected much here... maybe just 2D somehow or float calcs for android.

I've had less success with the "mobile data", seems drivers from china rom + beta T-Mobile rom is not helping either...

i might post this during weekend, and then pops the question, does CWM work for you running the china default mod?

i tested with a few different basebands from 2.1 and 2.2 releases all baseband files seems to make no difference, radio has signal but no 3G mobile data at all..
(it is seen on another MS milestone port i did, which were a library problem) and i cannot use drivers from milestone..

Clockwork MOD Recovery works on China 2.2, it needed ALOT for an reaction, this mean when you select for example Recovery Reboot it takes like 10 seconds before it boot in RM.

thats not actually CWM , but the new kernel which seems slower here.. but ok, so i should be able to make a custom rom using a system.img file and be able to share this way..

you can dump your system and then make a .zip with an update-script that copy the system folder to our phones using clck work mod. the problem is if you need to do a nand-backup from froyosene.
one question: do you disabe usb debugging mode before installing the clocwork mod recovery? on the acual froyo roms if you have usb debubbing ennabled you can not enter to clockworccmod recovery.
