i've flashed this to my tablet, but i havent got developer options on mine, like in your screenshot...?I built the ftf with Sony Bridge and flashtool 0.9.11.0 and flashed it successfully. This is ONLY for 16GB Xperia Tablet Z LTE (SGP321). Other than that, no warranties.

Brilliant! Thanks for that! Is there anymore hidden goodies?Go to Settings> About Tablet and tap Build Number a couple of times to unlock Dev Options.

Do you get any random 'ghost' screen presses? Occasionally some ghost touches appear on mine, causing the app switcher to show up, or back or home button presses. Only experienced it in portrait mode so far... (if you switch on show touches in dev options, you'll see it if it happens)After using it for 3-4 days now ...
On the up-side, I am finding the tablet a bit snappier especially when I have lots of apps open, I think that might be down to memory management improvements from Android 4.1.x to 4.2.x. I am also seeing an improvement in battery life - not sure if Sony have made any improvements to their "Stamina" mode which I use ... your mileage may vary ...
On the down-side, I am still not a huge fan of the new UI (centralised back, home and recents capacitive buttons) and if rooting is your thing, it is far more difficult to root, involving many steps versus one simple script ...
All in all though, I prefer to be on the latest release of Android, Sony Kernels etc for performance & stability so I plan to stay with .244, especially now I have successfully rooted ...
hth.
I have been using the tablet for an hour or so (in both landscape and portrait) with that option enabled and I haven't experienced any ghost presses as yet ...Do you get any random 'ghost' screen presses? I'm sorry for noob question, but I'm New in sony Word. Its about step 4 (update to 244 with flashtool). Is it the same as step 1(flash 307), just use different tft (unbranded 244), the same options in flastool etc?
Correct me if I am wrong, but step 4 is a full flash of .244Yes, but you have to untick the wipe options and exclude the system partition from the flash. Otherwise you get 244 without root.
Yes sorry, my bad. Got it mixed up. 4 is a full flash like with 307.Correct me if I am wrong, but step 4 is a full flash of .244
step 6(a) is the re-flash of .244 without wiping data and excluding system partition from the flash ...
It will boot this kernel only once, and that boot will fail (because it tries to load CM10.2 which is not there) mostly without you noticing. You have to watch the LED turn green and then press Vol+ to enter Recovery, otherwise the Tab will reboot and load the 244 kernel again.thanks for help. I hope last one.... point 5:

And tablet started in .244 , it shouldnt be like this, right?

If you used the other route and flashed the boot.img like it is described in 5a you now have to do 6a to get back your kernel from the 244 ftf as described in the 1st post.it didnt boot so I gave this
fastboot flash boot boot.img
It was ok, I was able to go into recover.
How to get out of this now? whatever I do I am still getting free xperia...
6a. ReFlash 244 but without wiping data and excluding system partition from the flash
Could you try playing some games?
