Lol no.. Cut my left foot to a broken glass and damaged Achilles tendon. I'm on crutches for weeks now. Pain killers + 14 stitches not really helping me with my sleep

omg finally rooted .253 firmware without loosing Bravia Engine & DRM certificates .. now I'm running .253 rooted firmware on locked bootloader..

Same here but three days after posting this update . Used NUT's method which was very easy to do and follow.

screenshot shows that the version I have 1271-0116_R5A which is the same version some one else confirmed for a device bought from Harvey Norman.. Don't know why your version didn't prompt me for the APN settings both times I flashed.. It is up to you since this is older .434 firmware.. I uploaded it for anyone who wants to use SPCC to receive official update..

Oh I'm starting miss Samsung ROMs where it is so easy to figure out your ROM branding with Samsung CSC codes

thanks.. according to this firmware you had is from Singapore... Still Samsung codes were way easier to identify (XSA - Australia Unbranded, VAU- Vodafone AU, TEL - Telstra, OPS - Optus)

Make sure you are using the beta version of flashtool otherwise you will have problems. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2162907

No this is a TFT Rom, stock Sony, you can download and then create your own zip using flashtool. Flashing the TFT with flashtool is not much more difficult than flashing zip from recovery. In fact it is probably faster because you don't have to copy the file up to your phone in the first place

Just make sure you untick all the boxes in the top right corner box and everything will remain intact Section Wipe , see attached.
