My question was how to install it properly, not where to get it :)

This:
"10.Place the unzipped file in the usb_driver folder, located in the Android SDK > extras > google folder on your computer. Accept to replace the old android_winusb.inf-file with the new file. If you can't find the usb_driver folder, please install the Google USB Driver Packager using the Android SDK manager."

I don't get WHERE is it since after installing the SDK I cannot find it nowhere.
This is a mess for me.

And what about this Manager:
You just install all of it in the "C:\" drive

Just have a look in your "C" drive, it should be there.

Well you should at least extract the zip file into the "C" drive. I can see the fasboot.exe in C:\Users\Main\Downloads\adt-bundle-windows-x86_64-20130219\sdk\platform-tools

Maybe I'm an idiot but the points 8. to .13. in this tutorial are just a mess to me:

http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2153261

And why this instruction is a bit different:
http://unlockbootloader.sonymobile.com/instructions

This is just crazy.
I can understand. I had to figure out that no. 8 part.

In no.8 it says hold "SHIFT" and right click on the background of the folder. What it should've said is on the left window pane like shown in this picture

And this should show up

Ok so - I don't need to use Android SDK at all?!
I still don't get it.

And what do you do with fastboot_with_Android_USB_file.rar?
Just place it somewhere?
Not really but handy to have around. The Android SDK is for more serious stuff like customizing, extracting ROMs etc. You can unpack the fastboot_Android_USB_file.rar anywhere you wish

Maybe I miss something here:

"•power down ur phone and keeping the Volume Up button pressed connect the USB cable to PC this will trigger FASTBOOT mode and windows will start driver installation, extract the above package and point the driver install to that location (usb_driver) folder"

Ok and I type there:
i 0x0fce getvar version

??

Or what? Because it is also strangely written, like all is bald.

Edit:

I have "waiting for device"...
You have to type this "fastboot.exe -i 0x0fce getvar version" so you will get this

As you can see I got the 0.5 result so it means the phone is correctly connected

Sorry for the delayed answer as I was having trouble getting the S1Boot Fastboot driver installed. so I had to pick the driver manually before I got it to work.

Ok so I did it and this resulted in "Waiting for device" beeing displayed endlessly.

I might miss something in the drivers install which I also don't get really, as I wrote above..
Yes it was annoying at first. My Win7 64bit PC was looking for S1Boot Fastbbot driver when I had the XZ on fastboot mode. I had to stuff around and do more research. In the end I had to choose the driver myself (Sony sa0107)

I ended using the Flashtool to install the drivers first and still my PC was looking for the S1Boot Fastboot driver so I had to pick the driver manually

Picture 1: My PC was looking for the S1Boot Fastboot driver and the driver wasn't detected

Picture 2, 3, 4 and 5: I had to pick the driver

Here & There...
You loose DRM key by unlocking BL and some says Bravia Engine (some says it still works for video but not for pictures).

For the update, yes you can't update via PCC with unlocked bl, but you can relock the bl to do the update. Most of the time the day an update is available you'll find an ftf uploaded here to flash via flashtool.

Sony has it's own flashtool for unlocked bl, so u can go back to stock when you want.
