No, how do you extracted the files from your phone rom?
Oh, you install sony's update service. Plug your phone in, it will detect that there is a new firmware available and will start downloading it (the whole 740mb), as soon as it hits 100%, unplug your phone right away before it starts flashing it to your device. Then locate where the downloaded files are, usually in a blob folder. You then use Flashtool to decrypt those 5 files and then Flashtool will create the FTF file out of those 5 files. The only thing I removed was loader.sin otherwise we get an error when flashing.

Downloading right now, thanks mate.

One question, do you see any improvement over 423?
I found there was a lot of lag and bugs in 423 so I had reverted back to 253. But I have been running this 244 build for 2 days now with no issues. I'm not sure if the battery jump problem is still here since I calibrated my battery after rooting. So far so good...

Thanks bro, I'm finishing flashing as I write.

I'll comment on whatever I can find right now.

Now that we are on this, I will TB restore my apps one by one, there seems to be an app that I used with my HOX before that is breaking my access to widgets, it,s been happening since 4.1.2 on my 6506.

I'll let you guys know what I find in that also, if only to keep you from going through the same.

Back when I'm root/fully charged/batt callibrated.

Rom working great for me. Reverted to .423 kernel, rooted (doomlord method) and reflashed .244 kernel after.

Locked or unlocked bootloader???
It doesn't matter. You can flash this to a locked or unlocked bootloader. You can also root with a locked BL. You can't flash a custom Kernel if your BL is locked but you can flash the 423 kernel, root and flash back the 244 Kernel with a locked BL. Mine is locked and I was able to do it all. Really happy with the ROM compared to the 423. :good:

It's working fine for me. Rooted. Is anyone else getting insanely high battery temperatures with this FTF?

My has gone as high as 45 Celsius.

Also, the signal for calls and HSDPA get kind of jaggy every now and then.

Other than that, it's way smoother than 423.

 I see your 45 and raise you 51. I've reached 51 celsius once but I was on build 253. It depends what you do with your phone. Some games really make the phone hot and raise the temperature by a lot. I was told by someone in XDA that there is something/app I guess that monitors the temperature of the phone and will automatically shut down the phone if it gets too hot. But yeah, I reach 45 easily while playing games on it.

As for the data, didn't notice anything weird with it, I'm 95% of the time on LTE.

I have the C6506, and no LTE, just HSDPA.

Wao, 51, you can cook on that, hehehe.

I just stop whatever I'm doing when reaching 45, and it cools down pretty quick, less than 5 minutes to 35.

Let's see what 4.3 brings once it's out.
