Fujitsu Toshiba IS12T

Does anyone know if there is any way to activate one of these on a US CDMA network? I have an HTC Arrive and would love to see anything on CDMA other than the current offerings. Is there any way to associate a R-UIM with Sprint or Verizon?

as far as i know ,8655CPU only support CDMA 1X and CDMA 2000,there also a version using 8255could use wcdma /gsm,but the price is inconceivable ....
KDDI uses SIM Lock-Level2, and "Unlocked" means "We can use it using your SIM Card published from KDDI."
So we can't use other career's SIM Card.

I sold my IS12T a few months ago so sorry youngb0y
but I have another phone Toshiba T-01D which is a gsm phone and works perfect in Europe.

actually ,those cabs doesn;t varies from brand to brand,that is to say u can use any cab to update ur phone

I have a sim card KDDI, though it is free of the logo and there is no guarantee that it is sim card original.
hi, well this is an old thread but i will try to exploit it for my benefit. I heave a new Fujitsu Toshiba IS12T and it doesnt register to my network (T com) in Croatia. If any of you guys knows the solution please help me, thanks
It is necessary to update the PRL list to 00058. Without the update, the phone will not work even with the AU sim.
OK, but how? when i try to update it only shows message - you dont have permission to view this page-
PRL need to upgrade to 00058 in Japan. To use your phone abroad. This is instruction from the AU KDDI
1. I create a hotspot on windows 7 laptop and connect to VPN Gate by Using OpenVPN Protocol.
But the update has not yet obtained.
2. Next, use the au kddi sim or create your own Multisim.
Maybe I'm wrong, but so far no other ideas.
