Hey there after a whole week of testing, reflashing, bricking, rebooting I decided to share with you my debloat version of Galaxy S4 Mini I9195 ( might work on all versions of galaxy mini, not sure. )
For those who want to keep stock os for some reasons, I made this post hoping I can spare people some great time.

Summary: most stock apps gone, no kies, no ota update ( if you root your phone you wont't get any anyway ) and so on. Removed main apps as I have replacements from the play store. Also removed everything search related including voice which never worked well for me. I use swype keyboard to dictate and that's all.

I attached the updater-script contents, as you may modify and keep whatever you want. I tested this script on my device and everything works fine.

Just flash it via cw recovery and if it's the first debloat I recommend wiping /data and /cache.

If you want to skip a file deletion, open the zip with any archiver, and edit the file META-INF/com/google/android/updater-script and delete the lines regarding the app/folder/lib you want to keep.

Worked like charm. :) Serious debloating.

I flashed cwm, booted to cwm flashed the script and was done. I wiped dalvik just in case. Now seems to work fine. Didn't have to root for it. :)
So basically stock rom and kernel + no more crappy apps. :good:

Thank you for your work!!! Awesome!!

You're welcome like I said I spent a whole week removing/puting back until I found what CAN be removed and what CANNOT be removed safely.
When I feel like reverting to stock rom I flash stock and immediatly after odin's reboot I flash custom recovery and run the zip so I can have my /data intact.

I never made backups since this is not my primary device and it's still in testing sort of speak.
however since this are different roms I don't think you can revert to stock rom with cyanogen /data ...

This sounds great, but if I have rooted and frozen bits of bloat can I do this over the top and expect it to work?
TIA

instead of reinstalling you can edit the file I wrote on the 1st thread and delete the lines that match the apps you want to keep

If you have rooted phone just make full backup with Titanium Backup and after you will use this debloater you can easy get back all apps you want.

I'm verry happy with this script great work ;)

Hey guys, could you please tell me how is the battery on this rom comparing the stock one?
This is not a rom. Its a script that automaticly uninstalls all the samung bloatware apps like Samsung hub, sam connect, bookstore etc.
But to awnser your question, it would save battery a bit more since the bloatware won't be running in the sys backround any longer
Beware that debloating does not remove any bloatware system shortcuts such as some of the AllShare connectivities tabs as its implented into the samsung firmwares interface.
