Full encryption on A5 2017

Hi. I plan on buying the 2017 A5, and I want a fully encrypted device. So there’s a question.
Will the CPU (with only A53 Cortexes) be enough for an acceptable experience with full device encryption? And if it is, will my device be encrypted out of box? AFAIK all the devices shipped with Marshmallow are required to be encrypted, unless the performance isn’t enough for on-the-fly seamless encryption. Is that the case here?

So are you saying the phone is already encrypted? I have got my hands on A5 2017 and could not find device encryption option. The only option in device security is to encrypt SD Card

My guess that the phones that come encrypted out of box don't have that option because there's no use for it. That make them lack confirmation though.

U are right, stock is encrypted by default. No option to disable it only with a custom recovery and a boot patch
